I didn’t sort the cupboard out but I did go through some of DS’s clothes and put those he has decided are ‘too young’ for him now to one side to give to family members when we go home again.
An old pair of my jeans that I saved for painting have also gone in the bin. There was more paint visible than jeans so time to get rid.
I’ve just finished watering the garden and giving the plants some plant food as everything looked a bit dry even though we had showers earlier today. Most of the washing dried on the line except a few thicker items, so they’re now on the clothes airier in a sunny spot.
I’ve also made another sale on vinted tonight for £15. The item originally cost me £4 in a charity shop before I decided I didn’t really need it, so I’m pleased with that profit. I just need to wrap and send that now. That’s another £15 in the savings when it eventually clears. :)

I had a terrible night's sleep last night with weird and disturbing dreams all night. I feel shattered this morning. :(

This morning I had an email to select my yearly bank account 'reward.' I usually select cinema tickets but they're not such a good deal anymore as they used to offer 8 free tickets but it's gone down to 6 in recent years. As I currently pay for Disney + it works out a better deal to go for free disney+ for a year, saving me £7.99 a month. So I'll cancel my subscription to that today and activate it for free in a month's time. :)

£3 sent to the savings from one of last week's vinted sale + £1.97 automatically transferred to that pot from my main account via 'savethechange.' It all adds up. :)
I've sorted through an office drawer today, binned a few things and freed up a shelf - not sure what I'll use it for yet but it's a bit of extra storage space when needed.

The savings have gone up a little bit more thanks to the rest of the vinted money clearing, a little save the change 'sweep' and £20 from OH for his family member's bday gift which I also sent over to the savings.
I've sorted my wardrobe out a little more today and found a few more things to list on vinted and a couple more to go to the charity or pass on. I still need to find a box to post the latest vinted sale off (non-clothing item). I'll see if OH has anything suitable at his. :)

I found a box in the house by relieving something else of its home. The buyer may be a little confused when they open their parcel and see the box as it bears no resemblance to what’s actually in it!
I’ve listed two more items on vinted which will hopefully make around £20. The incessant offers is the only thing that annoys me about vinted, everyone seems intent on making numerous offers on things. I wouldn’t mind, but I feel I price the items fairly low to sell rather than what they’re worth. It still beats selling on eBay for me though with all the fees that entails.

Argh, I’ve messed up in YNAB somehow and have nearly £70 less than I thought I did. :(
I have no idea how I’ve managed it, but it’s going to make things really difficult unless I transfer some money out of one of the savings which I really want to avoid. The little bit of child tax credits that I’m eligible gets paid next Wednesday so I need to not spend any money other than essentials until then. Payday is two weeks away yet. :(

I've been reading through some of my old diaries on here tonight and it really seems like reading about someone else's life. It was a different life ago, or several different lives ago. It does remind me of how much I've overcome, pretty much by myself, and I really have become so much better with managing my money (says she who just managed to lose £70 I never actually had!).
It has hit home how long I've been paying a mortgage off though - mostly by myself - and how I need to do everything I can to build my savings up then overpay the mortgage by as much and as quickly as I can. I want this gone now!
