You don't have another mobile in the house?

Recorded my call today and asked for everything to be detailed on official letterhead. I’ve paid the first CCJ for £150. Just glad it’s done now to be honest. It is annoying, but it became an unnecessary headache in the end. As per my previous question, say the 2nd claim gets stopped. Can I then go through small claims and sue them or would that not be possible? :)

Always possible but whether or not you'd win would be down to whether you can plead a lawful cause of action and if a Judge is with you.

Hi all, I've received an email from the solicitor regarding the second claim (similar to the first one), it's an N236 form which shows the claimants decision to 'proceed with the claim'. I've not received any official letter through the post nor has MCOL updated, but I've just received a scan of their paperwork that states their decision to continue with the claim. On the defence, when I submitted it, it asks if I am defending against the payment to which I said yes and that I had paid. In the amount field, I inputted £2.70 (which is the original parking tariff paid). I couldn't leave the field blank, otherwise it wouldn't allow me to submit the form. What do I do in response to this email received?.

Nevertheless, I have read the Newbies thread and Ive seen the subject access request (SAR) template, on there it asks if I have any particular information to request, but I don't know what specifics to request, please could I get some help on this as I'd like to ensure I have all the necessary information from them when I make the request. Also, I'm slightly confused by the other parts as I'm not sure which links to follow and what steps to take next.

    Thanks :)

Sorry, we don't take money for this assistance and MSE strictly disallows that.  We can't help personally.

You've only received a normal letter that is among the 12 point first steps checklist in post one of the Template Defence thread.  Nothing unusual.

Not sure why you aren't following that guidance at this early stage?

From this (below) it seems that you haven't followed the forum's advice threads and wrongly submitted a defence using MCOL?  No advice here tells you to submit a defence that way and certainly not fill in any fields:

I don't know why you didn't follow forum advice and email the defence, filling in no fields.

Did you put a defence in before you came here?  What exactly (verbatim) did your defence say?

It is fairly obvious and can easily be searched on the forum or Google.

Here's one I used earlier that you can adapt: https://www.dropbox.com/s/paw81bc14cjd0cw/subject_access_request copy.pdf?dl=0

You would be wise to stick to the open forum where if someone gives you a bum steer then others will correct him/her.

That is the best advice of all !!!!!

The defence I submitted, I posted on this forum on 3 March 2023 @14:00PM. You mentioned that the defence submitted was fine, but then I needed to prepare myself for the next steps. Now that I've made that error of filling in the field, have my chances of defending this claim diminished completely, or can I rectify this at all?
