You need to re-read the NEWBIES thread section in the 2nd post under the RED CAPITALS heading. It's designed to grab your attention to read it.
Well I am confused then, I cant see anything related to 'transfer of proceedings'.
According to the court claim procedure this is next:
"5. The case file will then be transferred to your local County Court, and you will eventually receive a Notice of Allocation, giving you a date and time for the hearing. It will also specify a deadline for you to submit a Witness Statement, and any other documents you intend to rely on, usually 14 days before the hearing but sometimes earlier than that. Your Witness Statement can expand upon the points made in your original Defence, and must start with the following "I, Joe Bloggs, of 23 Acacia Avenue, Anytown, AN1 2BC, am the Defendant in this matter, and will say as follows". You should attach to your Witness Statement any evidence to support your assertions, eg photos of signage, etc. Optionally, you may also want to include a Skeleton Argument to flesh out the legal points, or you could include those as part of your Witness Statement."
I haven't received any date/time of any hearing. If I am missing something can you let me know?
I should start to work on my witness statement?0 -
As you say, the first few words of point 5 are...
"5. The case file will then be transferred to your local County Court, and you will eventually receive a Notice of Allocation...".
You are at the "will eventually receive" stage.
Does the Notice instruct you to do anything?
Apart from noting where the proceedings are being transferred to, is there anything else on it that you think is worthy of note?2 -

Nothing of note no, it just says:
"This claim has been transferred to the below County Court Hearing Centre for allocation. On receipt, the file will be referred to a procedural judge who will allocate the claim to track and give case management directions. Details of the judges directions will be sent to you in a notice of allocation.
If you would like any further information you can contact the local County Court Heating Centre directly but please await the Judges direction"0 -
Update on this:
The last couple of weeks I have had many calls from DCB Legal. I havent answered any of them and I also received a few voicemails asking me to call them back. Also an email with a offer for me to pay £2xx rather than go to court.
Today, a letter arrived also asking me to contact them to settle the matter.
I assume I just ignore?
I also received today:
-Notice of Transfer of Proceedings
with some info saying the claim has been transferred to county court at luton for allocation.
-General Form of Judgement or Order
seems to be Hertford county court ordering that the case be moved to luton justice centre

Well you need to start prepping your WS bundle so read the thread by @_blueberry_ right to the end.You will find the answer to your question (even though their court wasn't Luton).
You will also see a great exemplar WS and when you read that, you will see what I mean about Luton!PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Well done, by ignoring the pestering phone calls, you have put DCBL into panic mode and especially as Luton will be involved
Whilst you continue with your WS, also get your costs schedule ready
And, keep ignoring them
