Fayolle if the flylady bus was on tour we would have called to pick you up love. I think people are hibernating waiting for spring.
So, my news. I feel weirdly anxious and unsettled which is odd because actually things are OK here. So of course that means I am looking for things to worry about and not sleeping well. Sigh.
Went to the big city yesterday as DH wanted to go to a big outdoor shop that is having a closing down sale. Which of course was utter drivel because most of the stuff was supposedly marked down but actually wasnt any cheaper than it would have been anywhere else. I bought a new waterbottle but no clothes, which I was rather proud of. We then went to Mr Ts and spent a stupid amount on food but we did try to be sensible.
Then we went out for tea with DS and GF for a late birthday treat for DH, which was lovely.
Need to catch up with a bit of flying today and do some paperwork and invoices for DH. I would like to get out for a walk at least although it is very very cold.
Hope everyone has a good Sunday x7 -

Hallooooo my lovelies xx
It's nippy out there but warm enough if you're scrubbing a bird bath....which I was earlier.
I'm up, dressed, made my bed, put out the recycling, fed the birds, done a laundry shuffle, scrubbed, rinsed and refilled the bird bath, binned the cloth and toothbrush used to scrub, filled the shredder, emptied the shredder, and decanted two part filled jars of coffee into the coffee caddy.
Coffee time now

Hello all.
We have been to the park with Poppetand DGD1 this morning. Just having early lunch then I'm going to spend some time with the radio in the greenhouse.
Will hoover later ahead of DGD2 arriving for her sleepover.

Whoops, morning, not morning!
Awww, thank you YL 🥰
Hibernation - I am all for it! We could have a flylady hibernation den, or whatever you need to hibernate in.
I have filled the green bin (mighty cold out there), then into the gh to put some seeds in (having spent time outside, the freezing gh felt almost tropical), seeds brought indoors to clutter up the DR. Beans that I had dried last year were soaking all night, so they have been cooked and woven into the meal plan for the week. Vacuum cleaner run around downstairs, just waiting for dh to finish faffing with the fire, then I will finish the LR. He is being a pita - away with work form next weekend, and he really, really doesn’t want to go. And don’t I know it. He is being a prima donna about packing, so I might just put him in the suitcase and send it on its way. Somewhere. Anywhere.
I really ought to clean the bathrooms, but I can feel a severe case of cba-ness coming on…6 -
Morning all
pleased to say my sale bargains fit and, as I have a pair of jeans about to give up the ghost, are fine, as is the jumper. Pegged out the washing early, post tablet, during my ‘vertical half hour’. Have also ironed all the ironing waiting to be done.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily DickinsonJanice 1964-2016

6x WM4 loads have been hung out.. by OH3x DWKitchen half mopped after the box of wash powder popped and spilled all over the floor.Airers cleared and refilledFolded stuff upstairs, towels away2 children bathed2 half loads of laundry in but waiting to fill them up.I am super tired.. not really sure what is up with me.. but I have been tired all week and usually I am never tired.. quite the opposite.Sandwiches for pack ups were made at the same time as I did lunch.. why have I never done that before??? it was so much easier, time saving and sensible.. sometimes I think I am just stupid.
We did Tesc0 last night so I don't have that to do today.. OH checked shop closing time and went off to buy cat litter with 15 minutes to spare only to get there to discover they close at 4:30 not 4pm as advertised on their site.. still.. I didn't have to go..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)7 -
Both washers now full.Cat trays all clean.. and Percy defiled one already.DW needs emptying again.I have identified a pile of stuff to go to Meem and the table to go to my mothers can go next weekend..
I'm thinking I might try to sort the girls room next weekend since DIL has offered to have my 3 over night.. so we have Saturday evening and most of Sunday. I asked OH if he wanted to go to his mothers and see how things are and he rather emphatically said no.. can't say I never offered!
Pack ups to finishuniforms to find.. and shoes!I have 5 boxes of uniform I want to fling on V!nted this week.. if I still have it come June I will fling it at the charity around the corner. I have 4 boxes of shoes to drop off anyway which I will try to get done ASAP.. I think there is only someone there on a Tuesday afternoon so not sure when it will get dropped off.
Nail appointment on TUESDAY at 10am..
I feel like I have barely sat down today and have acheved nothing of any great significance.. the house is no tidier or emptier!
Planning a tip run next weekend.. or maybe 2 or 3.. Dead DW to go.. DD1 has a broken cot, my mother has an armchair and my sister has a whole sofa.. I have Meems PC and some stuff to drop off with her and a wardrobe to take upstairs and a plastic unit to go to DD1's and a table to go to my mother.. I think I might be run ragged rather than 'relaxing' while the girls are not here..LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)6
