dust everything took everything off dressing table, rationalised it, threw some away. Polished.   Ditto the bedside table.
clean windows and mirrors also cleaned mirror and towel rail in en suite.

s&s kitchen vaguely! Emptied DW.   Put a load of washing on.

Slowly slowly am I still sorting out clothes, but am culling and finding homes for it so pleased.
Went to zumba.
Did a bit of a report.
Did a few bits of admin.
Paid for the village magazine online.  Crossed my name off next week's church rota - I was only on set-up - as we're going to visit friends.
Plan bit of drum practice next before starting to organise dinner, then hope to return to the report.

Almost forgot, I sowed the broad bean seeds as I'd put them in to soak yesterday.  Jolly cold outside.

That's some fire Christmas, lucky nobody (or pigs) injured but what a mess it will be. 

Dinner now started and Mr N stirring it (chorizo risotto) while I drum.

Thank you for the lists again. I have done very little, but I have kindly enabled DH to fly on my behalf 😉. Whether or not he realises that yet is another matter! So towels have been washed and are still hanging in an attempt to get dried, dw has rinsed after last night’s heavy-on-the-garlic dinner (trying to scare away DD’s cold /flu lurgy before we dropped her back to her chilly uni house), and he has wultd after I threw together some dinner this evening.
Christmas, that fire looked huge and scarily close.

Been a day of running around and organising upcoming things. Blooming knackered! Decorating of the master bedroom has been completed and am prepping the room for furniture etc coming in. Going to shampoo the carpet tomorrow and try and convince dh to run through the clothes in his wardrobe as we empty it, move it and refill it. Should hopefully have my car back on Friday so will be able to join in properly next week. Just going to do my best this week to do something as there is a lot of walking being done at the moment (8 miles today!)

Cold.. over-peopled and going to hide in my nest to be warm and recover. I have a double dose on icky eyes and too stupid to walk to the kitchen and get the eye drops out of the fridge.. I was never very brainy. 

Dinner and pack ups done. I have Miss Squizz and Lionel tomorrow because DD1 has a scan. Squeak is home too.. that makes dentist easier.  We are taking the grandbeasts to Tesc0 after dropping DD1 off.. we need pack up stuff and Miss Squizz is lovely and well behaved.. Her little face today because she is off tomorrow and the 2 boys have to go to school.. I told her it was a sneakcret (se secret and a sneak!) .. she is not to tell the boys she is coming to mine tomorrow

There’s nothing like a visitor alert to get you moving is there. A colleague is going to pop round after she drops her son off at school in the morning. So at midnight I was mopping my floors to create a good impression. 🤣🤣🤣

Oh Christmas, I hope you got some sleep after midnight flying.  I'm afraid people have to take me as they find me.

Morning all.  No flying yesterday unless you count putting a washed sofa cover on the airer.  I had a lovely day with DGD2.

Still can't seem to get rid of cold/cough etc but will fly today.  First up is admin.

Morning all

woke up to find the cat in my bedroom - she’s not allowed in here.  Turned out DD had put her in here as she’d brought a mouse in and was making a racket.  Fortunately DD spotted the mouse and evicted it.  Just been to make a coffee and take my overnight oats out of the fridge to take the chill off so she’s back downstairs looking for it.

Taking mum out for lunch today, dad is golfing, so we’re going out into the national park…nice place with a gift shop.
