Ok sure. So I won’t respond to this questionnaire rather respond to the courts request to do the questionnaire?

Also, I’ve not received anything from the courts since submitting the defence back in mid March 2023, should I contact them?

Just keep checking your MCOL which will update once they have sent you your N180 DQ. As soon as you see that, you can download your own form online, complete it and email it back to the CCBC and copy in the solicitors.

Have you read the following thread, because you will see that you are on a pretty well-defined pathway ..... to a discontinuation?  Stick with the plan!

Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I provide only my personal opinion, it is not a legal opinion, it is simply a personal one. I am not a lawyer.

Hi So I received the Direct questionnaire from the courts, I've got until Monday to send it in (had health issues so could not do it earlier) but hopefully will record delivery today.

Quick question: section D:suitability for determination without a hearing - what is the reason I give for saying no?

Also has anyone got a link on what to tick for sections D to the end of the form please?

    Thanks

I hope that doesn't mean you are thinking of using the Royal Mail Signed For (once known as Recorded Delivery) service.
The checklist you were following when you filed a Defence tells you how to file and serve a DQ.

This thread - New Questions on the N180 Form - should help.

Also it's Friday; never send post expecting a weekend signature to an office like that!

Email it like the Template Defence first 12 steps tells you to.

Just a point for next time...

It would've been good to send the one email once to the two addressees.
That way neither addressee can deny receiving the thing of the other address received it.

Not that it matters too much (or at all) with a DQ.    ;)
