Maybe one of us should publicly state that Yasmin Mia is a liar and see how she reacts. If she thinks she isn't and decides to accuse someone of slander, then there would eventually be an opportunity to prove that her "statements of truth" are, in fact, nothing of the sort.

Just an idea.

@B789, is it possible that your words might seem to the named person to be worthy of a complaint to MSE?

We've seen it before. MSE's reaction to such a complaint is to delete posts or delete entire threads simply to avoid the seemingly difficult task of trying to defend unknown forum participants.

The moderators here at MSE forums do seem a tad easily intimidated when it comes to their "slash & burn" policy when barked at. As mentioned elsewhere, I have a huge amount of experience of operating a successful forum over decades. I started in 1995, long before FaceBook and all the subsequent derivatives were even imagined.

The forum I created is still going strong today, 28 years later although I took the money and ran back in 2007. I have been "barked at" by the biggest legal firms in the world acting on behalf of some of the wealthiest people on the planet. Not one progressed beyond the barking stage.

Only one ever progressed to a court order and that was from someone in the Met Police who was offended by some blatant truths that exposed their distortions of truth in some public statement. It was a knee-jerk reaction by the embarrassed individual to try and find out who the whistleblower was that caused said embarrassment. Needless to say, the only evidence I could supply was an IP address that they then had to further discover but within a foreign jurisdiction and it never got any further.

I am more than happy to provide advice and assistance to the MSE forum mods, should they request it. However, if they have any backbone, they will resist caving in to any legal threats by a sub-optimal, legally trained, robo-claim lackey. If necessary, I am more than happy to reveal my identity to the mods so that they can absolve themselves of any liability should the offended party want take matters further.

At the moment, all they would be able to do is remove the posts. If the offensive offended party hoped to litigate further, they would require a court order for MSE to give up any details they hold on me such as the email address I used when signing up and any IP addresses logged from my posts. Both pretty useless as they would then need to obtain further court orders in both Canada, the USA and other foreign jurisdictions to further decipher those details. Good luck with that!

Of course, the main aim is to get Yasmin Mia to face interrogation about her "statements of truth" which, as we all know, can be evidenced as otherwise.

Well, I'm more than happy to offer a platform If anyone is interested. Also, I would offer much, much better forum software with full mod/admin rights to the experts who would need such rights in order to keep the valuable information up to date.

Of course, I do not want to take away from the hugely popular MSE forum advantage that you have here. Maybe a link to a repository for the valuable sticky info which the experts can edit as and when necessary rather than the very occasional opportunities afforded as and when the mods here deem worthwhile.

Just (another) idea... 

We digress. Maybe a separate thread or just PM for full disclosure.

I can edit the NEWBIES thread whenever I ask the Forum Team to open it for me.  I haven't asked for it to be opened for a year.  My deliberate choice.

This is because I haven't had time (I do have a life outside of parking!) and I don't want to make changes piecemeal.

The next edit is dependent upon the upcoming draft Impact Assessment (which will give us all a heads up as to the DLUHC's direction of travel on the level of charges that they intend will be in the statutory Code in 2024).

Hence it can wait till things move a bit.

I echo what @KeithP said.  Avoid naming people and certainly avoid defamatory remarks.  This isn't Trustpilot... just imagine if someone connected to PPC World tried suing Trustpilot...oh wait, they did...but that's another story.

Send them a SAR asking them for their CCTV, photos, personal data and more importantly a copy of their Ticketer's witness statement including times and first recorded descriptions of the "driver" being onsite without children!?! Also ask of their records of their attempts to "mitigate loss" by stopping or advising the driver of the  rules etc - issuing sneaky PCNs won't help the centre. 

THEY WON'T HAVE any of this basic evidence which is why you must ask for it on a SAR so you have it in black and white should these clowns ever push for court. There is no lawful purpose to use CCTV for this reason even if they did have it. Again they are total chancers who are hoping people will get frightened, be unaware of their rights and then cave in and pay!

It's no secret UKPC set targets and bonuses for the attendants.
