I'm stuck on the part D1 - Suitability for determination without a hearing.. can anyone help on what to fill out here.
    thanks

Yours is not a new query.
Changed last June if I remember correctly.

This thread - New Questions on the N180 Form - should help.

    Thanks for the reply Keith

So an update, My father has just received a letter from the court saying it is bieng allocated in the Small Claims Track and also a Mediation Option.

The letter also states that he must submit all evidence before November 20. Is this basically sending in the defense we setup.

In the letter it also mentions that if the case is struck out if the fee isnt paid then the fee is passed on to the defendant if they have a counterclaim. Is the counterclaim like hours taken of work etc?

lastly apart from sending in my fathers defense, is there anything else we must do,

apologies if this doesnt make sense.

    thanks again everyone.

    have a great day

You, or rather your father, needs to create a Witness Statement and gather his evidence.
All that is described in the second post of the NEWBIES thread.

Do not miss the deadline for filing and serving a Witness Statement and evidence.

hi, thanks for the reply Keith, the section about gathering evidence in the Newbies thread, How would i file all the evidence such as pictures videos etc, is it to the email i sent my defense to?

Also the witness statement used in the Newbies thread is a totally different situation to mine. do i copy and paste it and change the situation etc.

i will apologise in advance and say im a complete newbie and will need someone to hold my hand pretty much all the way. I have no clue as its my first time.

i will obviously try but at the moment im lost.

    No.

That went to Northampton CCBC who haven't been involved for months, and that was only a gateway admin centre at the start.

The NEWBIES thread section and link to bargepole's thread about 'court procedures' already tells you who must be copied into the WS bundle email

Have a look at the WS by @_blueberry_ and @vincentvega27

No, we don't have court emails.  You do (or you just Google for it).  You know which court you chose; which also set the hearing date.

Your WS bundle obviously goes to your local court hearings email, plus cc in Gladstones.

It's up to you, but surely by far the easiest way to convince a judge that...
    a) the signs were of poor quality, and
    b) there weren't many signs at all, and
    c) the white lines surrounding the parking bay had all but disappeared, and
    d) the entrance sign said nothing about paying, and
    e) you didn't park in a disabled bay, and
    f) anything else you can think of....

...is to show him/her some pictures.

It's entirely your choice. It's your case to defend. Surely you understand that the better you defend it, the better chance you have of winning.
