@f0xh0les, you win hands down with the driving! I don't feel so bad now 🥰
Still on NSD#7 (had miscounted last time I posted, was only on 6, but didn't spend anything yesterday).
Had a lie in yesterday, hung the washing out, then went for a walk with DH. Spent the afternoon & evening sewing. Disappointed that I'd still not finished the job before going in the bath. Read my book in the bath & applied a face mask.
Monday
Got up & did yoga then Norwegian. DS3 off with a chesty cough DH had to catch the bus for his hospital appointment, so I had to rush & feed the cats before leaving a bit earlier for work. Had a trip first thing to look around a secondary school with my pupil, the rest of the day went quite well. Brought DS3's GF home with me. Tried to have a nap (me that is), but couldn't nod off. Did the ironing then after tea, I finished the sewing job 😃 Took GF home, it's been snowing again, -1.
Grateful for birds murmurating, clean bedding, a warm fire, a better day at work & a nice walk yesterdayUse it up, wear it out

Still 8 NSDs.
Went to do the food shop tonight with a list, and spent much less than planned. Not by choice however. Our local Mr Al had been closed for a makeover, has been open about a week and although it looks better the shelves were most definitely not fully stocked! I failed to get about 1/3 of what I went for, the crowning achievement for a supermarket being no milk of any type/size. I was very good though and just missed out the things they didn't have. This week's menu will therefore have a bit of a shuffle and even more items will be used out of the cupboard than I had planned. I will have to get milk tomorrow but the rest of it I will do without.

Morning turtles,
Yest was NSD 5. Today probably won’t be as planning to order Mother’s Day flowers from me and sisters. Also need to look up flights home for June and July which I may end up booking.
A good day yesterday, laughed a lot with colleagues, read my book in the park at lunchtime and went off to my hoop class without feeling the usual nerves/dread. Bumped into an old student in the changing rooms, was lovely to have a chat. All food from stores.
grateful for nice chats, lots of laughs and cherry blossom.Student loan £5655

Had a lovely day yesterday. I moved my couch forward (to where it should be), waxed all 5 drawers and runners, lined the drawers with craft paper and added some of mum's scented tealights to make things smell nice, decanted the contents of 3 large bags for life into the drawers, wrapped the baby's Easter present and cut a luggage tag into a rabbit shape and unearthed my seed tin.
Lots of resting, reading, puzzles and watched several episodes of Jeeves and Wooster. DS3 came and went (I occupied the couch for several hours) and they both went off to Beloved's ultrasound (better than the last time, they managed to locate her uterus but her ovaries are still awol).
Grateful for the prospect of an office/ craft space downstairs and making my bedroom look more like a bedroom, getting lots done, having fun, lots of space left in the bureau (at least one more bag of craft to do plus paperwork and tons of instructions and ideas).11 -
Glad you had a good day, Grandmanerd.
I'm just plodding along. Himself took the drawers out of the big freezer today and I tidied them all up, Lots in there to use so minimal amount of spending on food will be required for the foreseeable.
Just received a beautiful bouquet of flowers from a holiday friend. I'm feeling quite overwhelmed at her kindness.
Have a good evening, xxxxHave adventures. laugh a lot and always be kind.10 -
Big news!! Yesterday the heating did not go on... at all!! Not once. It has stayed off today until now, but it has got majorly chilly in the last half hour, so will be decadent and profligate and put it on. Plus DH will be home in half an hour.Did my good deed of the day, got rid of two bikes to a local family for her kids, who rode to school this morning on them. Happy kids, happy mum. Then got rid of another bike with issues to a chap who was looking for a project to keep him out of trouble. Cleaned top two floors and hoovered all before 11am, have walked 4km inside the house so far today, up and down the stairs, up and down the stairs. It is looking quite good actually, my little house. Well, up until the kitchen, then it looks like I have been visited by bears. Hungry bears.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

@f0xh0les I've left mine off today so I'll join you in sharing big news!
Today was another NSD, think I'm up to 10, am trying to be good and not waste money, and also plan my spends better.
Went to my friend's house to go dog walking first thing, then came home to wfh. Managed to dust everywhere on my lunch break before an afternoon of meetings. Went to pilates class this evening after work and have just had a quick bath and dinner.Save £2,400 tuition fees - £2,321.04 as of 08/24

I am claiming today as NSD 9- I did buy milk but absolutely nothing else and I only had to buy that as there was none in the supermarket last night.
The weather report for today- some snow this morning, its all gone now but I wouldn't be surprised if we had more overnight.
Work crazy busy again, I really need a quiet day to catch up with the non-urgent stuff which keeps getting pushed down the list but is eventually going to become urgent if I don't get to it.
I could do some of it at home, but as its generally well after 9pm before I ever sit down I'm not very inclined to start work again then.

Sounds like you've all had a productive day. Way to go Turtles!
NSD#8
Got up & did yoga & Norwegian before breakfast. We had more snow overnight, but thankfully the roads weren't too bad. Not a great day at work again, the teacher noticed things were very fraught in our corner most of the day. Things improved mid-afternoon, after pupil realised the error of their ways & apologised. Doesn't do my stress levels any good though!
A detour on the way home to pin an old lady into 3 pairs of trousers, then to the post office before heading home. My friend was working in the PO, I've not seen her since last year, so we had a good chat. Her daughter is expecting twins!
Had to cram some chocolate in my mouth when I got home, it soon calmed me down 😃
DH went for a nap after tea, so I paired up a mountain of socks, then did a couple of sewing jobs.
Grateful for laughter at dinnertime, catching up with a friend, time to do yogaUse it up, wear it out
