Poorly fitting flue collar disagreements - opinions please

    They have now ordered a suitable roof tile/collar and internal plate and will organise to come and finish things off properly when they have received them.

    It would be worth checking if they are using a Viesmann part, if they are not check with Viesmann if this affects your warranty

    That’s a lot better, but it should be fixed to the roofing sheet. It needs fixing with self tappers or pop rivets. As with thermal movement of the metal sheeting any silicone sealant they’ve used with fail. That’s why it has a aluminium around the edge for fixings.
    90% there but no coconut. Get back onto them.

    Maybe I could get a full time job going round doing snagging repairs  am I local to Doncaster 🤔
