I've been on it since April 2023, I have a big system, 8.74kWp , 8kW inverter and 29 kWh of batteries.

Gut feeling is that Agile and Outgoing would have been a lot cheaper over October to March, especially if working the system (import when really cheap - export for 15p kWh).

I do this on Flux, but it doesn't work that well through the winter months.

With all the prices constantly changing, your consumption etc, it will be hard to work out.

Anyone stayed on Flux long enough to get a full heard in yet?
I switched in Sept 23 so have a while to go.
I'm doing the full year to compare it against the previous year on fixed and agile.
I switched to Flux last May but Octopus messed up my last bill - omitting the export - so it might take a while to get the figures straight.

This year I am really noticing the reduced rates and wonder if I would be better off on Agile once I start importing significant quantities again. This is the last 7 days. I don’t have a battery but this time of year I don’t need one. “Round trip efficiency” on Flux for me this last (sunny)week has been 86% and for the last 28 days (not quite so sunny) 81%. (See photos below) Once I start importing more on standard rate it will drop. My average import rate in February/March was 25.23 (incl VAT) and export 17.37 (all flat rate and no VAT) so the efficiency then was 69%.

Flux is definitely the correct tariff for me over the summer months, just winter I could have done better. Still last years gas and electric bill was -£405 so can't complain.

Still on Flux - never left for fear of cancellation of the tariff or our access to it. Still delivering nearly 3p per kWh more than outgoing Fixed (and rising!). For net exporter households, the tariff remains a game changer.

    Here's April 24's export:

    Here's April 24's import:

    -  10 x 400w LG + 6 x 550W SHARP BiFacial Panels + SE 3680 HD Wave Inverter + SE Optimizers. SE London.
    -  Triple aspect. (22% ENE/ 33% SSE/ 45% WSW)
    -  Viessmann 200-W on Advanced Weather Comp. (the most efficient gas boiler sold)

Feel free to DM me if I can help with any energy saving!

As you can see from my stats, export top, import bottom, consumed most of my electric from importing to my battery in April and made a small gain exporting (poor month due to weather and angle of panels). May is looking really something else though. I’m really happy with the average import price.
its tough to know what would have happened if I’d have not kept forced import on as I may have run out over night a few times. Happy to keep the experiment going though.

Did you force discharge too during the peak period? Seems a lot of big bucks export if not.

Just 9 days short of a full year on Flux, no battery just organic import and export. Decided not to migrate away during the winter just in case migrating back was problematic. As that only cost me £14 against the fixed export tariff, I'm happy with that decision. Also, I wanted to see a full year's worth of data. I have a split array, 4kWs due east, 3.12 kWs due west, 6kW inverter, 4 bed detached housing 3 adults. So far my energy bill for ~ 51 weeks is £113 and my fingers are crossed that I'll achieve net £0, or very close to it, for the year.
