Just tried via Safari and I seem to login ok but as soon as click on anything it says logged out as you pressed back button (I didn’t). Then tried in chrome and it gets to OTP entry and thendoesnt even log me in but refreshes back to login page.

Yes I have had problems today and yesterday trying to log in from Firefox same message claiming I had pressed back button. Switched to Edge got in straight away.

This problem has been around for at least 2-3 years. I myself made a formal complaint about it 18 months ago - got told to clear cookies and got £75 compo. Nothing changed.
One work-around is to use their app.0 -
I had the same issue yesterday with Safari, but tried again on my desktop (Firefox) and it was fine

Looks like it's random and intermittent. Firefox user, I reported it here last week when it happened during application for Green Bond. I knew I hadn't pressed back button. Best of luck in trying to report/chat with them. Expect useless auto reply. Their customer service stinks.

I tried again last night just before I went to bed - same device, same browser, no clearing of cache / cookies etc and it worked straight away.0

Unfortunately I wanted to buy more Premium Bonds which isn't an option on their app. That said I just tried using the app for the first time in several months and its asking me to enter a pin which I don't ever remember using or setting up before (and I store everything in a password safe). Tried my usual ones and locked myself out now.km1500 said:This problem has been around for at least 2-3 years.
