Thank you Jazee ❤ and piggers ❤. Tranquilised dog is still snoring .... stepping over him carefully so as not to wake him. Shhh.
Round 1 done. I haven't written the list yet - but I have done a couple of things that were on it. Or would have been, if I'd written it. Iyswim 😊
I've unwrapped the 2 preloved Pyrex dishes + lids that I bought from a colleague's aunt for DS and GF when then moved into their first house....which they didn't take and have been sat on my kitchen worktop for the past is it 2 years? I lose track. Mangy bubble wrap binned. Dishes & lids WUDUPA in kitchen cupboard. Random cable removed from said cupboard and placed in 'cable' drawer. That's a bit more kitchen worktop unearthed. Woot woot. And when I do finally welcome guests we can have vegetarian shepherd's pie and apple crumble.
Oh that reminds me..... doing it while I remember....
ood custard powder binned. BBE March 2021. Probably OK but not prepared to risk it.
And I've brought down an empty lever arch file from RoD. All my 'portant papers are currently in an overflowing whachamacallit? D ring? file, and every time I use it the plastic pockets escape. So they're all going into the lever arch file. And the emptied D ring? file can go to cs. As can the posh concertina file that I unearthed in RoD when I brought down the lever arch file. And the pair of flip flops can go into the bag for DS.
Y'see. Once I've started it's not so bad. Tasks sort of lead into one another. But starting! Cor! Well it's overcoming initial inertia innit? And when you weigh as much as I do that's a LOT of inertia to overcome.
Oh and I WUDUPA the few pots from this morning.
Jobsa good un as we say round here.
Predictive text hates me 🤣

Afternoon.. thankoo for the list Valli, shall be keeping an eye on it while attempting catch up on pretty much everything else too🫣

Cleaned kitchen window and sill as the mould was appearing round the edges, did this while making a cuppa..
2x Washing loads done and drying on the line🥳 It’s lush to see the sun, even if it’s still on the chilly side..
Need to hoover..
Oh washed my car.. ok, I cheated.. took it to my local handwash place, they’re ace.. It still counts as a thing though.. 😝
More to do.. just CBA..
Coffee anyone.. ☕️.. maybe a slice of 🍰?"There's a little witch in all of us"🔮🪬🧿DEBT FREE 06/2018Mrs SD’s Decluttering 2025 ⭐️ 🥇11 -
I’m in this week. I haven’t done this for about ten years. When I logged in it shows I made a new profile in 2020. I have no memory of this, and I don’t seem to be able to log into my old profile. But new me is on a mission to get my house looking as ship shape as it was when I used to fly previously…although I do remember being told off by admin for doing too much chatting and not enough flying.I look forward to getting to know you as the week goes on. How are you all doing?11

Good luck for Mr Pigger's interview tomorrow. Nerve-wracking things, interviews.but we all survive them. Our neighbour's lodger has one as well, so l'll be thinking of both people in the morning and wishing them well.Valli - neat meths obliterates permanent marker. Very useful here when a lovely lodger was sketching with an indelible pen on her superking duvet. The cover came up spotless, and no-one but me sees the duvet itself so I don't worry about it. It's cheap as chips in Wilco on a cotton wool pad. It's how I label all the Chinese takeaway boxes we use in the freezer so I can relabel them hundreds of times.Round, if you feel the need to tackle that drawer, how about setting yourself a limit - keep, rehome, recycle, done one item a day until the drawer is done. I'm drowning in gibble here, and setting limits on my expectations of myself is the only way I can face tackling the backlog.Healing vibes for everyone feeling under the weather, particularly ASB. Please take as much care of yourself as you can, although I know you've a lot on your plate.Ionafan, I haven't been back up to the attic to look for the missing maps or the missing-for-three-years box of photographs yet. It's going to involve shifting a lot of stuff about and it's just too cold to spend that amount of time up there. Also, Layla gets upset if I'm out of sight for any appreciable length of time now, so I'll skip looking for stuff until I don't have to consider her needs. She's very perky today after a slightly tense day yesterday, and currently fast asleep on the bed at my feet.Belated happy birthday Natty. Sorry I missed it.Congratulations on being offered the promotion Jazee. It's always nice to be told you're highly thought of, even if you don't particularly want it.Well done for asking for a payrise, YL. Women are often very reluctant to do so, so it's good to know you weren't backward in coming forward.I listed a couple of things on Gumtwig this morning. I had a request about one - am I going to be in Newport, Bristol or London over the next few days. No. I had another request about the other item - am I open to offers. No. He promptly put in an offer, 25% below the asking price. I asked him which bit of No he hadn't understood. My office, which is also my Room of Doom, is squalid. I've spent a good part of today working on clearing the surface of the desk and the stacks of plastic drawers with my sewing stuff in them. I'm pleased with what I've achieved. I've also found an exercise regime I can do, and stick to, in an effort to get fit for my Hadrian's Wall hike in September, bearing in mind I can't walk very far on the ankle I broke last August yet, and it doesn't do me any good to try to do more than about 3000 steps a day. Apparently healing the damaged muscles and ligaments just can't be speeded up. It's only about 15 minutes a day, and that coupled with 10 minutes on the exercise bike should start to produce results without me damaging anything in a few weeks.Better is good enough.10

Sidles in late - by about a week I think. Sorry for birthdays missed (Natty) and lots of bones/sticks thrown at BD.
I need to stop getting sidetracked and catch up with what I'm meant to be doing.....why was I born a sloth? Much as I love them.
- got £20 off car insurance by ringing them and whinging.
- almost forgot zumba today....was just working out a running route when I remembered!!! so zumba done
- wudupa
- tidied slightly in kitchen, emptied compost bin
- filled bird feeders
- checked and sent off a report
- checked and sent another to manager for advice
- started another one (then I'll be up to date....until Wed when I see another student)
- started labelling paperwork for Wed & Thurs students
- dealt with a few emails and actions
- made a flower arrangement for us with leftovers from one I did for a friend on Saturday
- rang my mum
Other things I must do today:
- drum practice
- get a wiggle on with putting clothes in bedroom (yes they are still in various other places....am rationalising each garment before putting it into the new wardrobes which is why it is taking so long.....apart from sloth of course)
- make study suitable in case of a visitor later in the weekRemember...a layer of dust protects the wood beneath it.10 -
Cardboard box torn up and put in recycling bin.
MadamMim - it's so reassuring to know that I've helped you on this rocky road called life. Thank you for your kind words ❤
HB ❤ - you must have been sending flylady vibes ooop north. I decided that I'm going to clear the rest of the kitchen worktop one item at a time. That's far more visible that the drawers under my bed. Thanks to Flylady it's two thirds done....a last determined push will sort it. One item at a time ... just like the ottoman. I'll post to keep myself accountable.
Oh Fayolle we have another sloth lover in our midst. See Narc0's post above. 😊.
I wonder if there is a discount for multibuys?
I've had a shower, washed my hair, got ready for bed....because I cba getting dressed again. Only Connect now.
Love to all

Goodness me you lot have been getting up to all sorts of shenanigans while I have been at the paid stuff. Sounds like you have made progress with getting the worktops cleared Round x
I had a late start today so went for a short run before the paid stuff, washed doggie blankets and generally had a tidy around before setting off at 10.30am for work. Home at 8.30pm and now in Pjs, ready for bed.

So yet again I am late. And officially outed as a member of the sloth brigade - nope, I can’t deny it, Round has me down to a T 😘. Just don’t ever, Ever, EVER borrow my magic scales - they lie and deceive. That’s my excuse anyway.
Diddley squat achieved today, even with the inordinate number of hours spent at work. Tomorrow and tomorrow and tomorrow look to be the more of the same.
Stuck the towels in the wm at 6.45am, and thereby ended the sum of today’s flying. Tomorrow is yet another day.
In my pjs, have been for at least an hour 😊. It’s a regular wild Monday night here!
