Morning all
Valli I am absolutely delighted for you xx
I have skim read and not retained much so I’ll send hugs, hobnobs and sticks. Still feeling rotten but the show must go on. I cannot wait for the light mornings, I have just had a cuppa in bed now must don my head torch to feed everyone.I put the kitchen to bed last night, would like to shove the hoover round before I leave at 8.15. Children and dogs still fast asleep.Take care all xx6 -
@ Piggers… she was receiving treatment of some form…we were in the treatment room, and she (like me) had a drip. But I get your point. Anyway the kids are adults, they can choose.Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all.
Great news Valli.
Yesterday was spent either in bed or in the bathroom but I'm back at the paid stuff today. So glad I got basic flying done on Tuesday. Will try to report back later if I get any flying done.
Have a great day everyone.Spend less now, work less later.7 -

Argh sat with a coffee after waving eldest off to his driving test. Very nervous for him but I think I’m already all stressed out as it’s half term and waiting to hear if hubby has a job or not at current place or if needs to find another in next 2 weeks
might get dressed and put washer on at least6 -
Just popping out of lurking to say thank you to everyone for your birthday wishes for last week.
I had a lovely day, got totally pampered but that was mainly due to not being able to do anything too much as I had fallen over on Thursday and damaged my arm and badly bruised my knee (lovely purple bruise). It's now official I'm now old enough to live in retired accommodation (55yrs) eeeks!!!!!
Will catch up with thread later 😉
Love and spoons to everyone xxMortgage Free as of 20.9.17Declutter challenge 2023, 2024 🏅 🏅⭐️⭐️

Valli said:Radiotherapy in about a month. I will also be on meds (similar to tamoxifen) for 10 years. I appear to be too thrilled to sleep!
You are doing things a slightly different way round to me. I had chemo, then surgery, then radiotherapy, then Letrozole. Good luck, Enjoy your next few days of feeling well before the chemo kicks in.I’m looking forward to cracking on with my guest bedroom today. I dumped Christmas stuff in there after Christmas. DD is coming to visit at Easter, so if will be good to make a start. I am going to finish off the bathroom that I started yesterday too.7 -

It's rained overnight here too. My plants are happy.. my laundry is.. wet!
Cat trays all emptied and cleaned and the back room and hallway vacuumed of stray bits of litter.. I had barely filled one of them and Pudding was in doing a piddle a donkey would be proud of... Then Treacle got in another.. such pests! They just can't let them be clean for 5 minutes.
We have Pixies friend until tomorrow.
Twinkle had an epic nosebleed so the loo is all cleaned again as there was blood everywhere!!
Squeak stayed asleep until about 11am.. I think her body has moved to 'teenager' body clock..
I have pots to wash and laundry to shuffle and then Moomin and EC can bring down and wash the dirty things from that room.
AND....
OH GOT THE TRAINING POSITION!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
