There is no way of cancelling the subscription online. A telephone call is required. It took some discussion. The Telegraph refused to remove my payment details. Eventually, they agreed to change the online entry (as per below). I received an email telling me that my subscription is cancelled, but it will remain active until February.

Autorenewal is a big problem. It should be easy to cancel an autorenewal online.
