statement identifies which card holder, main or additional made the transaction

John Lewis changed credit card in October 2022. Old credit card statement listed main cardholder and additional card holder transactions separately, in 2 lists, first mine chronologically, then his. We could check our transactions easily. The new card, with NewDay, lists all the transactions chronologically in one list. I have asked them to produce statements identifying the card holder. They say they cannot. I raised this as a query, then as a compliant but not oy.
Can you tell me which credit cards issue statements separating cardholder transactions.
I want to move to a company that does this to save time and frustration.

Well HSBC do, I would think FD are the same, given the same base systems.
As to other no idea as I have no additional card holders.

Must admit I haven't seen that on any credit card statement I've ever received.  All list transactions chronologically.  Normally there'll be something to indicate which card was used (last 4 digits) but never separate lists.

Our joint cards with Nat West and Metro do not show our transactions separately, just in chronological order.

    Hi
From memory Barclay's cc and debit card dont show as we have joint accounts ie 2 cards. You can phonne and ask as I had to once as we could not recall spending a minor amount - they told me it was my card and that helped me jog memories. The other thing is when payments are taken, you may have shopped days at times weeks before and their/shops reference to what their logo/title is - gets confusing at times but most will have an idea of what looks right and not

    Thanks

    Sainsbury's credit card does this.

The few times I've had a secondary card holder, their card has been the same number as mine, so showing the last four digits wouldn't tell you anything, as they're the same on each card.    This was with RBS (donkey's years ago) HSBC (about 20 years ago), and Nationwide (a couple of years ago).

Have you looked online? Never had a NewDay card so not promising it can but what a company does on statements is not necessarily the same as what you can do with their website.

Some companies give the same card number to both cards and so certainly no way of separating the transactions with them... even if one card is lost they have to cancel both

Barclaycard show mine and the other half's transactions separately.

I've never seen separate lists on any credit card I've had with an additional cardholder. If this really matters to you such that you are thinking of moving, why not have separate cards each on its own account, one in your name and one in his? He could just open one of his own, and when this was up and running you could just cancel his additional card at NewDay.
