We'll have to see if it does change price again on the 3rd of April!0

Let's hope it does get extended, as it is a very useful service. It will be interesting to see what new prices we get then anyway as that's when I believe it is rumoured the new postal prices will come into force.jon81uk said:We'll have to see if it does change price again on the 3rd of April!I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the eBay, Auctions, Car Boot & Jumble Sales, Boost Your Income, Praise, Vents & Warnings, Overseas Holidays & Travel Planning , UK Holidays, Days Out & Entertainments boards. There isn't any mechanism to claim for late delivery with Tracked24/48, so unfortunately what they told you is correct. I expect it's in the T&C's somewhere.Does anyone know if Royal Mail offer compensation for delays with 24/48 Tracked please?
I had a parcel take 44 days to be delivered and was expecting the postage back, I'd actually put in a claim for loss after a month and they eventually replied to say this has been delivered case closed so I replied to point out I know but it was very late and they said sorry no refund due.0 -
I suspect it is because it is not a guaranteed service.KxMx said:

Thanks, that must have changed quite recently. I remember noticing last year before the parcel collect service was rolled out that I couldn’t drop off at a post office and had to make the journey to the delivery office instead, so good to see post offices can be used now for tracked parcels.cymruchris said:Money_Grabber13579 said:Remember though that you can’t drop off RM tracked parcels at a post office, whereas you can with the signed for delivery option. Not an issue though if RM are collecting the parcels.I'm not sure that's correct - I dropped my parcels into the post office earlier today. It may have been the case in the past - as I recall there was a time a while ago the post office wouldn't take a parcel - but the website indicates they can be dropped off at the post office, and I did.

I suspect it will, not least because postal prices are likely to increase in price generally from the start of April (although this hasn’t been confirmed by Royal Mail yet).jon81uk said:We'll have to see if it does change price again on the 3rd of April!Northern Ireland club member No 382 :j0 -
I think it changed about September 2022 , suddenly one day they showed post office drop offs were allowed.Money_Grabber13579 said:
