@Toni'sfriend I hope you managed to relax for a while.
@beanielou, if you can afford the cleaner without it causing a problem, I would totally go for it.
Today was NSD 2, long day at work so not much else done, but candle is burning and I'm working on the collection of half used hand creams!
Grateful today for a quick walk at lunchtime, a slightly later "getting dark" time and messages from a friend that made me laugh.11 -
f0xh0les said:@beanielou things to consider - 1) does it need to be done ? 2) can you afford to pay someone else to do it? 3) will it make things easier for you? There are no other questions necessary -if it means you will then be able to keep on top of it, go for it.
After the next or next again PIP payment to no 2.

Morning turtles!
You have such a lovely cousin @tonis friend @beanie I say go for it if it will make your life easier @deedee your morning sounds idyllic!
Reporting NSD 2. All food from stores yest. Exercise class and meditation done. I’m even finding time to write a little in the mornings. Also found out that monthly travel card for metro has been discounted even further until June so that was a nice surprise.
Booked Vietnamese restaurant as a planned (by me) but surprise (for bf) spend treat for tomorrow with my bonus money and will also go for a walk around an open air museum with sculptures by people like Miró. Bf is usually the planner and hates not being in control. It’s hilarious.
Grateful for cheap travel, for things to look forward to, for feeling motivated again.Student loan £5655

Good morning,
Yesterday was a NSD, today isn't. Booked bus transfer to and from airports for our trip to Germany in April. Will also do another top-up shop tonight.
Will call the bank today and see if I can shut the CC account that I paid off as it's still a bit confusing on the banking app if it is now cleared or not.
EDIT: Spoke to a person in a call centre and really struggled with the accent, anyway. As it takes ages for my last payment to go through (somehow these things are always in the favour of the bank) I will have to call back in two days time to close my CC account.
Forgot my gratitude for yesterday- a lovely walk in the blustery sunshine
- a great further ed course provided by work
- lovely colleagues

Feeling a lot more human today. Made porridge for us all this morning. DS and I managed to eat some of it. Stuck a washing on, emptied the dishwasher, disinfected the kitchen, dinner table, and door handles, hung washing out, had a bath and washed my smelly hair, put fresh bedding on, wrapped a present for DS’s friend’s birthday party next week, went to the library to print a postage label, posted parcel to buyer on V!ntd…Collapsed on the couch. Watched a Diznay film.Staying on NSD 1 as I bought a gift for another friend of DS whose party he will be going to this month… can everyone stop having birthday parties. 😂 But in seriousness, does every kid need an actual party? I think it’s a bit OTT. I had parties at home with close family and friends until my 21st.Grateful today for feeling more like myself, for getting some things cleaned, and for a dry mild day.

@ldee2111 Not sure how old your ds is but my ds is 11 and the parties have dwindled massively. He’s got lots of friends but in a main group of 6 and that seems to be the parties he’s invited to now.
