Accidentally booked a tip slot for 8.30am Saturday. Couldn't work out how to cancel/rebook and don't believe in not going so I had to drive home (15 miles) from friend's late Friday night so that I could load my car early Saturday morning. What a dipstick I am.
1 box + 2 bags of items to CS and a bag of coffee jars delivered to a lady in the village. Just got to get rid of my jam jar collection now! Also 4
paperbacks to go to my friend.
Dropped some miniature daff plants off for my DIL (she prefers plants to cut flowers) as she's just lost her Grandad. Also some sausages, chicken and chocolate as they are running a bit short this week. Their car has blown the head gasket so can only limp so far before overheating. So fed up with endless car sagas. My son works so hard but they never seem to be able to get ahead.
Mum asked me to go a walk with her to see the snowdrops in the wood on Sunday. Weather was glorious and the wood was carpeted with snowdrops and purple crocus. Lovely to see families of all ages out enjoying themselves. Met some grandparents with their very young granddaughters not only looking for snowdrops but looking for fairies. So cute.
Got my haircut at last. Went to work today and only 1 person mentioned it (nicely) so perhaps the other 15 didn't like it! I feel better for it anyway.
Gratitudes: Beautiful snowdrops, a lovely blue sky, getting my haircut, decluttering at the tip and CS.

Thanks @thriftylass 😃
Was woken @5.30 by the howling wind on our bedroom window, didn't sleep after that 😓 felt quite queasy on & off during the day too.
Dropped the picture off at my friend's on the way to school, she loved it, wondered if I'd made it. Pleased that she liked it.
Work went ok, then went for my massage, will count it as a NSD#12 as I pay for it through my business seeing as it's hunched over a sewing machine that causes it! As my shoulders have been so tense, she offered to do cupping as part of my massage. Have never had it before, but felt tension free when I left!!
Got home to see that my passport has arrived 😃 Tried renewing my driving licence, as you need a passport to do it online, but it wouldn't accept it. Will try in a few days, in case my passport is too new in the system to accept the checks.
Unpicked a zip. Customer dropped some sewing off. Feeling shattered, so will be an early night for me.
Grateful for the wind dropping a little during the day, my massage, the thought of my cosy bed & you lot - you inspire me & like true turtles, you battle on no matter what life throws at you. Proud of you all!Use it up, wear it out
Make do or do without!
If you see someone without a smile, give them one of yours 😃

Done the food shop so still NSD 10.
Mondays are manic so being fed and in the right place at the right time are wins for the day!
I have however also made lunches for both of us for tomorrow, and I'm going to sort a small pile of stuff that has accumulated on the breakfast bar before I go to bed but apart from that I'm done for today.11 -
Morning turtles
NSD 11 yesterday. Felt rubbish all day and missed my aerial hoop class. Can’t tell if it’s the lurgy coming back or the weekend’s indulgences (ate pretty badly) I will have to look after myself this week. On my way to work armed with healthy snacks and a flask of nice coffee so hope today will be better. On the plus side meditation and writing are a proper daily habit now, just need to extend it to the other things I want to do. Moving in the right direction.Grateful for feeling a bit better this morning, for a reasonable night’s sleep.Student loan £5655

Good morning,
first gratitude of the day, a pleasant trip to the dentist despite getting a filling replaced. My new dentist is excellent.
Also had a good sleep and feel rested, got some house work done before work that I couldn't be bothered with last night. Hopefully go to the gym again and have a NSD.
Do you sometimes wonder what it the point of paying off debt and envy people that just don't care. Not that I really do, I rather be debt free.
But I just read that the national debt is 2.5 trillion, 2,500,000,000,000. Talk about a dismal outlook. Now idea how government finances work, but in that situation how can they say they have money for certain things and not others. There is no money for anything. This month the government announced a 5 billon surplus, initially thought: put it towards the debt. But that is like me only having and extra 20 quid out of a 1000. Usually the government has to borrow more money every single month, leading by example....side rant over

So far today I have done loads of laundry, cleaned the kitchen, waved goodbye to DH for the rest of the week, and got very excited with an ARCHITECT in the bathroom - there is enough loft space above the bathroom for a double bedroom loft extension. How exciting is that?!!!*
So I immediately got on the phone to another conversion company to come and quote as well. Hooray!! I have options!
* The answer to this question is very, very, very, exciting.4/10/22One Year Mortgage Free Yay!

@grandmanerd As you don't want your ex's possessions in your home but want to help the boys, would looking into temporary external storage be an option for the vinyl?
They'd be gone from your space and by paying for the storage (and removal) you'd still be helping them.
