    Got a notification they'd given me a tenner for the trouble of opening the account.

    It wasn't really a problem waiting so can't complain about a free tenner.

    Anyone application has been declined when there is no problem with credit file? 

    I applied yesterday and received a message today account cannot be opened. I never had problems opening accounts with any banks. 

    This is the first current account application declined may be 10 years.
