Opened mine last weekMoved 250 from Santander on Monday - all goodMoved 5k today - no problemTried to move another 5k - Santander fraud department blocked it.I had to phone and jump the hoops ..."Has anyone told you to move money to this account"I replied Martin Lewis ... he laughed and said I wasn't the first to say thatHe approved the payment but then Kroo have flagged it

Very similar experience for me. Santander didn't hold up anything for me today but Kroo are now reviewing the final deposit I made around 1pm today. Still not showing. I was notified today that my account had been opened.Vortigern said:Tried to apply Tuesday evening before the MSE email and TV programme.
Very long lag at each stage with the "continue" button greyed out and unresponsive. Eventually got phone number and email verified, then had difficulty with the passport photo. Received an email saying please respond with your full name. Did that, heard nothing since.

Yes, applied 25th and no response from them at all (email, chatbot). I'm quite relieved to be honest, I'm not exactly underburdened with current accounts

I applied last Sunday, received an email today say some applications require a manual check and that is taking time due to workload.
I am not holding my breath and like many others I am wondering if it's worthwhile having an account that holds INCOMING money for checks.1 -
Applied 25th, approved today, 9 days, No response to email or chatbotWith all the reported issues and Chase going to 3.00% I won't take this further and won't request the cardIt's a shame as I like to support challenger banks but they just weren't geared up for the demand that it was obvious they would attract. Even Chase, a large bank, phased their entry to the marketPart of me is relieved, I don't need yet another current account2
