And Pigpen I dont have any practical suggestions for your kitchen problems but hope you get something sorted, trying to get workmen to do anything around here is a nightmare.

Well we went out for a meal last night with family.  Mum and Dad spent the night bickering and it all came to an abrupt end at 9pm when Dad insisted he was going home to bed.  Families eh.  £62 spent which wasnt budgeted for but it's not the end of the world.  DS and GF are still here and no-one else is up except me.

No idea what the day brings.  I really should do a little flying but dont feel much like moving off this sofa just yet.

Taken some tablets and had a coffee and given DD her card and gifts.  27!  

She’s now gone up to Manchester with her friend.

Not a lot done here either atm, but I have eaten toast,  cuddled 2 cats,  checked on my new to me water butts

I'll do daily stuff in about 1/2 hour.

Happy birthday to Valli's DD. Hello everyone.

This morning dailies have been done as well as shredding, more admin sorting, second of two wash loads in machine, dog walk done at local nature reserve and fifteen veg/herb/flower seeds planted in pots now on windowsill.

 I want to do a quick hoover through ahead of DGD2 arriving later but then I'm going to have a daytime bath.

Off to purchase cat fillings and maybe 2 cushion pads (63/65cm square) and a brief shop for pack up stuff.

cushion pads will have to wait by the time we had done pets at home and The r@nge I was done in. I did buy some pegs to replace all my broken ones from last year.

Shopping away and cat water fountain scrubbed and refilled.. they like iced water so instead of binning the ice cubes I put them in their fountain.. I tip away the old ones every week so they aren't getting stale and crumb covered. Plus when it does the first batch I like to chomp on a couple.

I have some BBQ pork steaks out for dinner.. and the girls are having pizza. I might let OH do theirs.. and fling some chips in for him and the large 2 and I have a fish pie.. I need to hunt out some veg to go with.

OH and Pixie are washing the car.. it looks like it is going to rain..

Wm run, bathrooms given a cursory s&s, 1st batch of marmalade made. Fingers crossed it will set ok. Vacuum cleaner and duster given a day off - again. Big finance discussion had with DH. We are going to try to do this monthly instead of just me sorting out the budgeting. We will see how that goes by the time February comes. Fire is lit, bread is ready to be cooked when the roast goes in, apples out to make an Eve’s pudding. I haven’t made one of those for years.

Trying my best to motivate myself but it’s not really happening. So far I have 
went to the shop for kitchen roll
cleaned all the glass in the LR
WM and TD/winterdyke 
my bed stripped and flung in the machine
steak pie and roast potatoes are in the oven. 

Watched a bit of a film with OH. 

Really wish to food would hurry up I’m so hungry!

Oh Fayolle - DD loves Eve’s Pudding!

ironing pile cleared apart from what has line dried today.
kitchen and bathroom both cleaned…couldn’t do it all in one fell swoop though.  I’ve also put the stepladders back in the shed.
