Hi all
Well according to my smart watch I slept for 10 hours and 56 minutes last night. I think it is cross with me because it says oversleeping on a weekend can be unhealthy and upsets your biological clock. I would argue with it if it was human.
Have spent the day achieving very little. One load of washing over the airer, I have flicked a cloth at the utility worktops and the appliances and run the cordless vac around. Oh and I have been out on the bike for an hour and a half so pleased with that.
Going out for tea with DB and other assorted family which I am very much looking forward to, even though DB has booked somewhere quite expensive.
Need to look at my finance spreadsheets and send in my electric meter reading.8 -

The unit is squishy and massively water damaged and the cold tap doesn’t work and both taps are loose. The worktop is granite and no one want to drill the hole to fit the new tap in.. I can’t get the old ones out otherwise it would be done already but I can’t find anyone else to do it either.LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)8

Hi gang. Sorry for being awol. Still maintaining low spends, good job as some work on the house has become more urgent. I won’t bore you with the details.
In all honesty I feel really low this week. I haven’t had a break from the children for months. There are so many jobs to do and I’m exhausted. I just want a night alone, with a fish and chips supper and my book. No bedtime. No cooking. No squabbles. Just me being allowed to be me for a few hours. Not mum, employee, smallholder, dogsbody - just ASB. How I wish I had family to help.
Pity party over. See you all on the new thread x11 -
Oh dear, those sinks around here even with a crack, sell for about £25 to £35, as people use them for alpine garden / rockeries. They must use a diamond core drill bit to drill new holes, about £20 from the likes of screwfix. Why can you not get the taps out? if the sink was out, could they not be undone from underneath? and replaced with the same size taps?I hate things like this, it seems so simple but is so hard to get sorted. The cupboard and door, have a look on Fb or freecycle for someone ripping out their kitchen, who will give you the right size.Reclaim yard for a butler sink.Breast Cancer Now 100 miles October 2022 100 / 100miles

I have got the sink and cupboard and the tap I have had so long it no longer has a warranty.. but no one will come get this one out.. it is screwed to the unit, the end panel and the wall.. the taps are behind the unit and can't be accessed until the unit is out. It is a really simple job if you can get in there and undo screws.. it is so annoying.. I hate my stupid bones which stop me doing this myself.

Been to collect DDs very fancy birthday cake, she’s at a friends so she’s taken it there. Went with my friend and we visited her mum and dad as we were nearby and then we saw some police had stopped a driver and I was stupidly excited as I recognised one of the Traffic cops from tv…I only watch the Derbyshire ones in case it’s anywhere I know…
not done much else and am in bed early as I’m in a bit of pain.
Still, only one more to go now.

Morning all,
I’ve been awol for much of the week - work and lack of sleep taking its toll. Today I need to do some basic flying, plus I have 3kg seville oranges to make into marmalade, and a chicken that needs to be roasted. Not entirely sure why I decided that a roast dinner would be a good idea today.
ASB, hugs, my lovely xx
Valli, hope that today is pain free x
S’pose I had better get started. Cuppa anyone? Xx9
