Octopus won't budge with regards to the 8kw model, it has to be the 6kw one
4.29kWp Solar system, 45/55 South/West split in cloudy rainy Cumbria.

I just cannot shake the fact octopus and other energy suppliers are fixated with 50oC flow temp.

Our 10 year old (I think) system runs at a flow temp of 35oC down to -2 and keeps the house toasty at 21-22oC.

I dread to think what the bills would be jn winter having to run our system at 50oC to achieve the same results.

If we were in the market we would probably dismiss the energy supplier offerings and go with heat geeks. The extra cost of the install will more than likely be recoveredbin the first 5 years running costs.

What is your total radiator output on their radiator schedule?

It will be at dT30c more or less.

Wow that's some front room you must have, needing 2 1400x600 K3s.
They've specified a single 1800x600 K3 for ours and that seems massive.

I have two 1800 x 600 K3 in our lounge and it's not that big. It's what you need to run at 30c

Originally we had two 1200 x 600 K2 which worked OK at 42c with the 9kW Daikin we had.

They were oversized for the gas boiler.

    Impressive.
I haven't got enough room for 2 K3s in lounge,
hoping I can run with much lower than 50c but won't be able to hit near your 30c.

I'll see what happens before and after winter and take it from there, if I need other rads increasing I can do it myself.

6127w of which 2892w is the living room.

The living room is very tall with an insulated pitched roof

Is your front room nearly half your total heat loss?

Just for a comparison, I have about 30,000W of radiator output at dT30c

I'm getting 2 K2s [1 is 1600 x 750 and 1 is 900 x 750] as slot-ins in my 30sqm living room that has ceiling to floor glass and glass doors on one side.
Originally they weren't going to change any of the others and they have ignored the bathroom...
Now after me writing a detailed reason for not accepting this they've thrown 2 more K2s as slot-ins in the hall and one bedroom - ie they go in as a straight swap no pipe work.

I argued that in the 21st century they can't limit bedrooms like this as one of mine is quite clearly a studio.

And as @matt_drummer  said the total emitter output is still too small.
