Standard guff trying to intimidate you and get you to pick up the phone. If you don’t respond they will have to pay to proceed to a hearing if they think they think they have a chance or it might frighten you into paying up.
Once they have decided whether to proceed you will receive your own Directions Questionnaire and the claim will be allocated to your local court. It will depend how busy and what their backlog is like. It will be weeks / months before it gets to a court hearing.2 -
DO NOT fill in their N180 that was included with that letter. Just file it. You now wait for your own N180 which will be sent to you by the CCBC or you can download your own here:

A well trodden and predictable path, moving towards a discontinuation. Carry on meeting all the court requirements and deadlines and you should be able to shake this off before too long.Carlingcup said:Hi Everyone,
I have received this today which included an N180 for for settlement/mediation purposes which I will obviously reject, should I be expecting a court date anytime soon? TIA.
Please note, we are not a legal advice forum. I personally don't get involved in critiquing court case Defences/Witness Statements, so unable to help on that front. Please don't ask. .

I have just received a missed call from 01133 720033, I called them back on a private number not giving them any details and asked what they did, they said they serve court papers on behalf of solicitors (glorified post service is what the lady said). Is this normal practice for parking offences and has anyone else experienced this?0

No, a postal service don't ring up. Must be something else. What does Google say about that number?PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I'm also going through exactly the same case but 2 weeks behind you (I have a separate thread if you were interested).
Just so you know, parking here is free for up to 3 hours. See below image of signage that was taken by UKPC for my case Oct 2018 (obtained through a SAR). Quality is abysmal but may help if you were to reference the current signs against this:

Thanks for this, the signage has changed somewhat since "i dropped off my package" lol, I will ask for a SAR if they continue to proceed.Mikeytomo said:I'm also going through exactly the same case but 2 weeks behind you (I have a separate thread if you were interested).

What is the point of delaying a SAR? You may as well request it now so that you are fully aware of what the claimant has or has not sent you.Carlingcup said:
