    YNAB Post

So YNAB is made up of 4 golden rules, well 5 now because they have just added one

Rule 1 - Give every dollar a job (because Jessie is American) insert $ for £ or € or …….

Seems simple, well yes it very easy, you allocate every penny you have, remembering not to forecast or budget money that you don’t have yet……so what’s the big deal I hear you cry……

In truth it should be easy but you add human nature into the mix and its far from easy.

These rules are rules for a reason, best way is to give you an example of how important it is to give every £ a job or allocate it

In my example we will have 2 peeps Mrs YNAB and Mrs Doubtfire sorry Mrs Doubter

On payday they budget their money and they allocate bills, food, etc etc and are left with £50
Mrs YNAB says I will allocate this to £5 eating out, £25 gifts and £20 to clothing
Mrs Doubter says nah that’s free money whoopie not going to budget that, I can have that spare

Fast forward a trip to town and they end up buying with coffee and cake, Mrs YNAB I’ve got £5 in my budget, Mrs Doubter, that’s ok I’ve got £50, I’m flush. Mrs YNAB thinks I’ll nip to little coffee shop round the corner coffee&cake £4.95. Mrs “I’m flush” Doubter goes to C@sta spends £6.95
Coming out of the cafe they both decide to have a gander, Mrs YNAB has £45.05 and Mrs Doubter £43.05, the sales are on.
So they both have a look into the window of a well known clothes shop, both thinking of that holiday in 6 months. Mrs Doubter is full on, I’m flush I have £50 goes in and buys that nice pair of trousers with matching blouse, spends £75 but you know what its ok as Mrs Doubter is flush (except in the cold light of day she is  down £31.95 )
Mrs YNAB looks and says well I have only £20 in clothes and its 6 months till the hols, nah wont bother. She then spots next door, the trainers her son wants for his birthday next month at 50% off and at £40 she can “pinch” £15 from clothes to give to gifts, birthday sorted.

Giving every £ a job is not just about budgeting its about physcology too

How many of us have been into town and when we got home realised that we haven’t spent £75 that we thought but more like £140 !

    Hoping this helps someone lol

    Morning Debt Busters

So not posted for a few days, feeling a bit down. Payday is such a mixed bag, never quite enough money to do what you need, let alone what you want

Anyway DH has had a bit of a long week at work so planned to go beach walking to help his mental health, have purchased Lid! goodies to take and was really looking forward to it until I got a p@yp@l invoice for £3k this morning. Long story where I was lied about and bullied relentlessly and forced off f@cebook. I hate the human race sometimes!
No the £3k is inaccurate, yes I've tried multiple times to speak to the "customer" yes she's liabled me on social media, yes shes lied along with her little gang, yes I've been advised to contact the police (they threatened me and the public bullying was horrendous for months ) so as the show season for 2023 they start again, relentless attack, it will be all over social again, just so they can stop people buying from me again and again

    Sorry not good mentally today

I am sorry you are not in a good place. It must be worrying to have that hanging over you. Did you mean the police bullied you? If so, a complaint to the Independant authority for the police. If not go back to them with any and all evidence you have. I know this is hard to do but your income is on the line and as you say it is the start of the show season. You have lost enough without the worry that the bullying will start again.
    Good luck.

Not sure I should post pre 7am, obviously my mental health took a big hit again with the restarting of the witches.

I did have great success at Lid! yesterday, with the 10% monthly off and a £5 voucher (bought coffee that just tasted of chemicals not coffee, no smell either) I saved £13. Have to say the switch from s@insburys to Lid! has been sooooo good, I no longer feel ripped off

DH not feeling great so off to local beach and picnic will be à la van when we get back

Did a check on the ole car insurance yesterday too, quote for renewal from Ax@ was cheaper than the meerkat mob, so that's an easy do-er to let the renewal role, would love to switch to yearly but since my accident (not my fault and no claim on ours) the premium has jumped both in price and now stand only £20 below the monthly dd's, changing would only be to reduce monthly outgoings at this point

Have a great weekend Debt Busters

It's a gang in the reborn doll world, I been consistently attacked since August 21, after DH had his heart attack in that December they "outed me" publicly, telling people lots of lies, I'm a scammer etc so much it would take all day, they destroyed my business and reputation. Everytime I defended myself they then attacked, I spoke out, I was wrong, I stayed silent I was wrong, I produced evidence to back myself up, I was wrong, I produced evidence to prove their lies, I was wrong
Citizens advice told me to go to the police
Every time I start to rebuild they start, I have them all blocked on fb but that was used against me, they pursued me across groups so I had to block them
The invoice I got 3 times this morning is claiming money for refunds given, deposits recieved and the goods as well, a charge back, and for goods she has recieved. I have tried in the early days to privately resolve this but just got attacked and out of context snippets of my conversation shared publicly. Shows I do get attacked for allowing me to attend

Their intention is my complete annihilation

I would go to the police and report them for harassment, police seem to act on that faster than if you use other terms for it. They should act to at least warn them, and once they have you can ask for a court order if it continues.
Well worth going to the police though as that will start to show them thatyou are serious and will not take their poo any more. What utter bar stewards they are
