Hope your treatment has gone well today, Valli x
This morning I cleared the kitchen worktops, did most of the dusting all through, and did WMx6 with all the bedding, towels and bath mats. I must have walked up and down the stairs at least ten times (and I took Rosie for a walk this afternoon, so I should sleep well tonight!) Meanwhile K did all the hoovering and made up the beds.
The GP nurse said my chest wound had finally healed, so she has discharged me. It still hurts, though.
This evening DH has gone to the club to play his first wargame for 8 weeks - he was getting serious withdrawal symptoms! It's very peaceful with just me and Rosie here. I am tempted to eat a whole carton of custard...8 -
Hi all
The upstairs of the house is still in chaos while DH decorates DSs bedroom. After a morning at the paid stuff I escaped to a local beauty spot with my camera and rambled for and hour and a half. I needed a bit of time out.
Very little flying done. Hope things went well Valli x
No idea what the weekend brings, sunny and cold tomorrow. We do need some bits of food shopping.

I could do pretend flying, or I could say that I have been reading along and not lifting a finger for a couple of days beyond paid stuff with my head firmly down…
I hope today was bearable Valli x
Iona, please, please keep taking care. You know that we worry about you x
Oh my, Dizzy, a daytime bath, I can’t actually remember the last time…
YL - your time out sounds like bliss. I am jealous, but should really stir myself to do the same at the weekends.
Nothing stunning to report here. No flying beyond daily minimums. DMs as they will now be called 🤣. DH has gone out to support the local small business (aka the village pub..), so I have a blissful couple of hours to do…sfa.
ASB, you have been inspirational, as HB said. I need to account for my NSDs for the month, but there are a fair number, more than I thought.8 -
Cool cap went on…first minute or two I have to steel myself not to ask for it to be removed…then it’s bearable. Couldn’t read, could get my specs on so watched silent witness on the iPad but I fell asleep! I’m in bed now, fresh sheets as I changed it before I went. But I didn’t sleep so well last night hence the nap and the early night.AND MY NEXT CHEMO SESSION WILL BE MY LAST!Don't put it DOWN; put it AWAY"I would like more sisters, that the taking out of one, might not leave such stillness" Emily Dickinson

Morning all
Valli I am thrilled for you, you’re so brave and strong. Lots of love xx
I am so happy to have inspired you HB, Fayolle - it is amazing what a change of mindset can achieve isn’t it. I intend to carry this in beyond January and will be reporting every day.As predicted I spent yesterday. We went to family bingo, I purchased a small amount of groceries and a little gift for a party DD is attending today. I also bought DS a dressing gown on eBay, his is far too small, for 99p! The postage was the biggest part of the purchase! We have everything we need for the weekend so I can safely say no money will be spent at all. That will take us up to 16/31 NSDs so far.
Oh yes, flying! Loads to do. But priorities are fire burning all day and animals. Beyond that is a bonus xx8 -
Wooty woot woot, Valli! xx
Still need to make a plan for today. Plenty of flying and admin stacking up here. DH went to small town yesterday so he was loaded up with the cs bag plus some foodbank bits. I now have the urge to start filling that cs bag again - it isn’t very big, so I’m not putting myself under too much pressure!
The sun is just breaking through. DH wants to go to the allotment. As he really, really needs the fresh air and exercise (wfh has made him even more of a hermit than me), I might have to accompany him. And call it flying for good measure.
I was given a box of cooking apples, so need to deal with those at some point. Plus we are going to see DD for her birthday in the week, so need to make a cake to take with us. Work is busy and not in a good way, so tomorrow might be my only opportunity for cake making before Wednesday.
First job, get dressed. Or maybe make another cuppa, if anyone fancies joining me? xx

Valli I’m glad to hear treatment is coming to an end x8
