For us 3 days less heating the hot water tank with our ASHP will save 6-7kwh a week of electricity so 312kwh-364kwh.
Do you mean you don't need any hot water at all on those three days? Or does your tank keep it still hot.

3 adults heat the hot water for one hour 5am takes the temp to 50-55oC Mon/We'd/Fri/Sat

No heating the tank Tue/Thurs/Sun if anyone wants a shower those days still around 30oc so warmer than outside the shower.

What do people reckon is the cost saving from a shower every two days, versus every day?  Worst case I guess would be for an electric shower.
And by the way, how many on here don't shower anyway, preferring a bath?

Not sure as I'm on gas, and I know I have set the boiler to come on for any amount of time since the 1st Januyary as the chill is over, did this morning for an hour as starting to get colder in morning now - so start the 1 hour mornings again for water and hearting.

But I have had almost daily showers and had hot water.

I use a strong deodorant designed to be used once a day at first then a couple times a week. Being a previously heavy sweater it's worked absolute wonders but I still need to use it every day, as the sweating creeps back if I reduce the use.
May I ask which one you use?

Cut back on the electric shower if I am working at home but use it if I am off out.  However I have a hot bath three/four evenings a week.  In credit with my water bill and did similar last winter and have found a hot bath keeps you warm for a couple of hours so don't need heating on in evening.  However it's just me here so not a great idea for entire families!

I have a bath almost every day, and don't intend to change that.

I have cut down to alternate days shower / bath from bath every day.  None of the other 4 in the house are willing to compromise on two long showers per day.
    I think....

Showers for me are actually cheaper than boiler heated baths.

Showers have higher peak energy use but they only need to be run for a fraction of the time due to the speed they heat water.

I have even on occasion filled my dish bowl using the shower to save money, other times using kettle.

Sadly I am plagued by hot flushes, esp at night, and so often cannot wait to get in the shower when i get up. I have, however, cut my former daily hair wash down to every other day unless i am going out somewhere. Interestingly, i notice my hair is slowly becoming less greasy over time.
