Or host the whole thing in Dropbox and provide it as a footnote URL.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Then we are back to the 'durable medium' issue.
I.e. that Dropbox file can be altered by the Defendant after the the Court and Claimant have read it.

Not sure what the answer is though.
  • I don't think it is necessary to provide the entire thing, but instead offer snippets.
  • Should i explain the events of the PCN being received or does that affect the use of the POC being too vague as it gives the court the details needed ?
  • I am trying to focus on the angle that the signs are not clear. The detailed sign that is attached to my building and therefore i would see everyday, states that there is no parking allowed. The sign that PCM have used as their evidence is of a different sign ( not attached to my building and not in my line of sight ) that states about having a valid permit. Would appreciate some help on how i should approach this as clearly that causes confusion on what i am supposed to do and the rights i have to park.

Your witness statement backs up and supports what you put in your defence.  Will the circumstances surrounding the receipt of the PCN support your defence in any way?

Apologies for taking so long to come back, I can confirm that after going to court, the case was thrown out after five minutes due to the unequivocal rights I had as a tenant that the parking company could not overrule.
    Quite right too! Well done.

If you still live there you must opt out of the PCM scheme and can use your win to help other residents.

    ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST!

Which Judge & which Court, please?

I have since moved away from the property. The court was Peterborough County Court & I do not know the judges name. I will however hopefully gather that information shortly.

Unfortunately I am now facing the same situation for four more parking tickets in the same location. Two for my car in my space & two for my partners car where I was the driver & am also a named driver. PCM Ltd is still the enforcement company, but they are using a new solicitor called Moorside Legal.

I'm pretty confident on the same process for the tickets against my vehicle, but I'm unsure about the two for my partners.
