I've had it for a few weeks. Also not a Plus member, and probably only done a couple of their surveys in the past so not as if they've been 'rewarding' people that do lots of surveys either. Doesn't seem any rhyme or reason to who gets it or when.pecunianonolet said:They said they roll out finance but still don't have it and neither does the OH so they might have it as an exclusive for Plus members only?2 -
That is indeed strange and indeed a mystery on how they roll it out when my stats show me as fairly active...

I have no inside knowledge of YouGov's selection processes but the choice of individuals may simply be a matter of demographics. you may simply not lie within the statistical bounds that they are looking to populate at any particular time. It certainly isn't a willingness to complete their tedious surveys, I've completed 3 or 4 a year.
Anecdotally, it does seem that I am often asked to contribute to opinion and marketing research (I've been a BARB panel member for years for instance). I guess I'm either super-typical or have some atypical characteristic that makes me a valuable outlier (statistically speaking).0 -

Yes, I think it is a mixture of what data you shared previously, demographics, your profile with them and what data their customers are looking for and are willing to pay for.
I share my viewing and shopping history with them as well as use Yougov Pulse for a few quid a month so it slowly levels up with the surveys. For example, I was invited twice for snap polls for pre election debates for 300 points each for literally 2 min long surveys about debates and candidates, etc. So not all surveys are just 50 points I get.0 -
Your August numbers are good but you've only been a member for a year? My dashboard says seven years for me: perhaps 'length of service' is a factor? (I'm Plus.)pecunianonolet said:That is indeed strange and indeed a mystery on how they roll it out when my stats show me as fairly active...

I would question the accuracy of my own figures
A plus member 7 years 2 months
82% response rate yet never missed a survey
Personality type, Established expert
478 surveys completed
50,055 points and I know for a fact I have had more that 10x £50
Fact, since May 2023 7x £50 = 35,000 points0 -
Got an email this afternoon informing me that I am now eligible to use the connections feature. The connections tab a number of you have been talking about (but has previously not been present in my profile) is now there, and I can link bank accounts now

However Lloyds, Nationwide, Halifax, Virgin and RBS all give me an Error 'Link no longer exists'
Is this common0 -
Is there a limit to how many current and savings accounts you can connect? I have looked at the FAQ and couldn't see oneEDIT: ignore me. I have now seen, on the Bank Connections screen, that the limit is 10 accounts in every 90 day period0
