Nice to see the Connections tab has now appeared for me, but no Bank transaction data option as yet...

I had the opening websites thing on my Samsung, then realised that my banking apps are in the Secure area and the camera app isn't. Added Camera link to secure area and all then worked via banking apps - except Co-op which didn't want to play so used something else. 10 current accounts added.

Just finished adding 10 current accounts.  All very quick to add, just scan the QR code, log in via biometrics on my phone, and the connection was done, much easier than the previous system.  The only one where that wasn't the case was Virgin Money - had to actually log in via username/password even after scanning the code, but that was the exception (on Android too).
  • Sorry have I missed something what the new offer yougove have what u lot are signing upto

I don't know why this would make a difference as it should be the same link but are you using Google lens or a 3rd party QR app?

It seems to be a new offer they are slowly rolling out as I've seen some on Reddit have it and some don't.

I tested like night in Firefox and Chrome and when I log in, I get just Insights and Rewards at the top, not Connections and Insights. I went to the old YouGov finance site too and it simply displays the message about it ending and a new one coming and offering to delink previous connections.

Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:

People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.

I've had the Banking Connections appear for me when I checked just now.  However, pressing 'Connect' just kicks me back to the Yougov homepage, and nothing happens.  Tried on Chrome and Edge, same thing on both.
Where abouts does this connections button appear? Can you post a screenshot?
It quite literally just says 'Connections' on the menu bar at the top of the screen.  My guess is you're on mobile so you're not seeing it (since I just downloaded the app and saw it's not there).

Also, the Banking Connections seems to be working for me now.  Just mentioning this in case they've enabled it on a bunch of other people's accounts in the last couple of days that didn't have it previously (like me), so might be worth checking.
No I have connections, just wondering where the banking stuff shows up as all I see is the youtube, netflix etc stuff

Another user in this thread screenshotted how it should appear once it is available for you: https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/comment/80986114/#Comment_80986114
