Slight side issue but what was the point of them culling Yougov Finance only to do an almost replica of it a few months later?
Just number of people being less?0 -

Is there a 10 account limit on it like yougov finance? Doesn't seem to mention one
Same 10 account limit. You get an error message if you try to link more

Could be any number of reasons really. The setup this time is different enough though. Different open banking partner, daily points instead of a one off lump sum. Slightly less generous too (4500 points/90 days).

Just number of people being less? This iteration is more integrated and technically refined (utilising Plaid instead of TrueLayer), and it was likely easier to cease operations and start afresh (and with fewer participants) than attempt a live-service upgrade.

UI is so much better, no purple background and everything is clearly displayed. Took me a while to get the process rolling. First entry was connected and the consequent ones failed. It appeared that after each connection I had to close all windows and start again. They didn't accept multiple accounts from the same bank, but luckily I have enough banks with recent transactions to qualify me for 10 connections. The bribe is not as generous as the old one was, but still good - £15 p/m for very little time and effort.2 -

I got the email today about the offer, will start working on it tonight, not that far off my next £50!
Sam Vimes' Boots Theory of Socioeconomic Unfairness:
People are rich because they spend less money. A poor man buys $10 boots that last a season or two before he's walking in wet shoes and has to buy another pair. A rich man buys $50 boots that are made better and give him 10 years of dry feet. The poor man has spent $100 over those 10 years and still has wet feet.
