Email from YouGov Finance just now (as I was reading this thread...)

YouGov Finance is no longer available.

    Hello,

We want to provide you with an update on our banking data sharing service, YouGov Finance, and let you know that it is no longer possible to earn points with the platform.

This is because we have made the decision to stop collecting financial data through the existing platform, meaning that you cannot connect new bank accounts to YouGov Finance or renew your consent to share data from a previously connected account.

You can still revoke your consent to YouGov Finance at any time, which will stop all sharing of your transaction data with us.

We appreciate that YouGov Finance was a great way to earn additional points, and we are sorry that it is coming to an end. Of course, the points you received through the platform can still be redeemed for rewards, and you can still earn plenty of points by taking surveys.

Fortunately, we are also exploring a new and improved way for you to earn points by sharing your banking transaction history with us, and we hope to share more information about it soon.

We would like to thank you for your contribution to our work via YouGov Finance. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact our support team by using this link

Thanks for shaping the world with us.

RIP, I think I might have missed out on a final payment  :(
  • I only joined on Sunday but all my accounts were credited and I have just requested my withdrawal.
  • There is no way that I will keep doing 50p surveys if there is no other earning alternative. Sad, another good and reliable earning opportunity goes down the drain. Let's see what's next and any new system will for sure not pay a generous 5er.

Re-consented accounts yesterday, points added today.  :)
  • Got invited to YouGov pulse on Saturday and today like others got the email that YouGov finance is to be no more RIP
  • Same here, went in with 13 days left yesterday, points paid out today.

Been a nice one this, sad to see it end.

RIP finance. Got invited to Pulse and it is a lot of points but it seems over the line for giving away too much genuine data.

It is probably no longer viable, due to the amount of people signing up to it after seeing it on here, and the majority probably qualified for the max £50 every 3 months due to them also participating in all the banking switching offers.
