A week or so ago I posted to say that I had just tried to add two new accounts (TSB, Nationwide) (as had vacant slots following bank switches) and after giving consent and going through truelayer and then back to the yougov website it said ‘something went wrong, try again or exit’. Same thing for both accounts. However, when I exited, both accounts were correctly showing with 92 days left.
Two issues now:
1. I have not received any points for these new accounts added, both had lots of transactions and been open 6 months or so.
2. I have now had the same error message when trying to reconsent all my other accounts shortly after, however, again when exiting it showed that they all had in fact been reconsented with 92 days left. But this time after a few days these accounts all went back to ‘only x days’ remaining and hence reconsenting needed. So I tried again and same thing and now another few days later they have gone all to needing consent again with x now down to 5. Meanwhile the new accounts I added have remained consented (but still no points). I have not received any points for the reconsents either (though probably explained by the fact they keep ‘unconsenting’).
I’ve been through a couple of reconsenting cycles previously and never had any issues and always received the expected points. Anyone know what might be causing these issues and how to resolve? And if I need to get customer service to sort, what is the best way to communicate with them? Thks0 -
The link for connecting Bank accounts has disappeared of the 'safe' page.
Any idea what's happened?

I did once contact them and the reply took 7-10 days by which time I'd sorted the issue myself, though if I'm honest I have no idea what was causing them.
Try contacting them, if nothing else they'll have this on record....there is an e-mail address on the site.1 -
The worst survey was the one about petrol stations asking general marketing questions that can not possibly be applicable to petrol stations. I ended up shouting at my phone 'I don't know if its engaging, inclusive or innovative, they just bloody sell fuel!'1

Just got an emailYouGov Finance Issue 25/03/2024 - 01/04/2024Hello,
We can see that you tried to add / renew accounts between 25/03/2024 21:37 and 01/04/2024 08:40 during which time unfortunately our website was facing some issues leading to an error message being displayed and points not being rewarded, despite accounts having been added successfully.
We sincerely apologise for this and for any inconvenience caused.
If you have not re-added or renewed the accounts that you tried to connect since this downtime, your points have been scheduled and should be with you shortly within the next few hours.
If you did re-add your accounts since the downtime, everything is working normally and we thank you for trying again despite facing this issue.
If you deleted your accounts because of this, we invite you to re-add them to receive points if eligible.
Thank you for being a member of YouGov and YouGov Finance and apologies again.6 -
Got the same email so that explains my issues above! Hopefully will now get the points for the new ones added and the other ones once I’ve reconsented tonight.1
