It's like, these are all the same questions that were in the last survey two days ago!
I know this is how YouGov raises it's funds, election polls that it no doubt offers out at a price, but it is tedious.
You'll be asked about your voting intentions/opinions on policies etc far more often than, say, me - a party member for 50 years who has never voted for another party. I get all the dull stuff about car insurance and TV ads.4 -

The ones that bore me (maybe 7 in 10) have a grid of maybe 24 brands and endless questions about adverts seen/talked about, positive/negative impression, proud/embarrassed to work for etc. My political questions are always at the end in the general 'things in the news' sectionI wish we could swap
It could be worse though, one of the most painful surveys I did (may not have been YG though, I can't remember) was about personal finance and it asked me who I bank with, there was a limit of just 9 banks/building societies you could choose from including an ``other, please specify" box. I selected 8 from the list and then tried listing the other 50-odd in the ``other" box, which ran out of space quite quickly.
This was then followed by `how many of each type of account do you have and please list the accounts you have", again with a limit of just 9 for each item including savings accounts, so again the ``other" box got filled fairly quickly.
To make matters worse the next page asked me a the same set of questions (about half a dozen I think) about each of the accounts I'd selected including when I opened the account, what is the account used for etc.
I ended up giving a pretty lengthy response at the end of the survey when they asked for feedback including a complete list of my accounts for them to read through at their leisure.2 -

Deep seated hatred of Scottish Power and all who sail in her - would love to see Ofgem grow a pair and actually do something about it.2 -
I like the thumbs up/down ones. They are quick and remind me how many singers or footballers I have never heard of. Extra 10 points too

I'm retired, spend most of my time on my ipad so I know immediately when I get an email survey from yougov so I answer immediately
Some political surveys are time sensitive so you can miss some if you don't answer in time
I get the same surveys as you plus political, I also think the trick is to respond to all.1 -
I used to do the surveys religiously, but it's a very low payout for the amount of time spent on them, so I mainly stick to the finance part these days. I do occasionally log in for a survey, and when I do I want them to be as mindless as possible. For the equivalent of 50p for 10 minutes, my brain should not need to work too hard! There are much better options for paid surveys out there.

I got quite a few higher paying surveys recently of 150 and 250 points. I was also asked if I would like to be invited to a video watching group they may launch in the future. You watch a video and have to answer some questions after for like 500 points or so.0
