    It's YouGov Pulse.

That should help you Google it yourself.

I would but it's yougov plus, not pulse. I did google it but couldn't see anything about it
Well it's either a typo or it's a phishing attempt/scam. If it's the latter and you got as far as it asking for Id then it's obviously good enough to have you clicking a link.
It's not a typo or a phishing attempt. YouGov have also asked me to join Plus which is separate to Pulse.

In return for verifying your identity, you're paid a bonus. I think they offered £10. You have to retain an 80% response rate to their surveys though.
OK, fair enough. Seems odd that you can sign on to YouGov (as I have) and search for Plus on their support page and get a zero response. Must be trying to keep the premium, elite, invite-only vibe going.

I signed up to Plus when it was offered to me. It makes it a lot easier to get to the £50 cashout level more frequently as it offers extra 'tasks' that usually only take a couple of minutes but can be worth £1 - £5 depending on what they ask.

I wonder what the criteria are for being invited to join Plus. I've not been offered it at any stage.

Well if the both of you are completing every survey that YouGov sends your way then there's clearly no need to bribe you further.

I did the same. I don't know but in the last week or so there was a one year anniversary task so it could be that it hasn't been fully rolled out or it could just be that to keep costs down numbers are limited.

Think I'll give it a go.
    What's a typical task like?

It varies but often just a short, free text question.
