Delete and add as a new account. You may need to keep trying. If you continue to have problems, contact them. A couple of months ago there was a Truelayer issue with HSBC that they eventually resolved after a few weeks.sparkiemalarkie said:I can't reconnect my TSB account...has anyone any tips please?

The way I read their messages when I joined the masses last month though, is if they were to delete and add as a new account, one that has earned points before, that account will not benefit from any fresh points.masonic said:

If that is the case, pretty pointless sharing the data from that account with them. The way the OP states reconnect suggests to me that they have had the 500 points awarded once for TSB already.
Other, more learned, YouGov Finance users may have actual evidence of the contrary.1 -
You can reconnect the same accounts after the expiry. I've done it last week and already received £50.wiseonesomeofthetime said:

9 (incl. TSB) connected without any problems, 1 (FD) needed a few attempts, 1 (BoS) didn't want to connect so I used some other account instead.2 -
I get you. So reconnect, in this instance, basically means renew the open banking connectionallegro120 said:

Other, more learned, YouGov Finance users may have actual evidence of the contrary.I can confirm that I got points for several accounts I deleted and added afresh, since they would not renew. I wouldn't have suggested it if I didn't know it works. If the open banking connection fails to renew, then there is no other option. What you cannot do is delete and add the same account within 90 days for more points.1 -
I finally got my TSB account to connect by disconnecting the account and then clearing my cookies
......should have thought about that sooner!

The same, I've tried renewing first, it didn't work so I deleted them all and connected 10 from scratch. This seems to be the right way to do it.masonic said:wiseonesomeofthetime said:

YGF has no customer service of anything worth calling it. It has become a joke this past 12 months and with their stupid rules changing.
On 19th June I "reconsented" my MBNA card, at the time I was told I "have 1 reward left to redeem". On 23rd June I asked YGF why I had not received my 500 points, they responded on 26th June "Our records indicate you received 500 points on 2023-06-09 and on 2023-06-08 for YG Finance." This response was completely irrelevant to my question !!
YGF 'customer service' are useless !!0 -
@stardust23
No one is forcing you to sell your data to YouGov.
But I think they are the customer, not you!
If you know of anyone else who will buy this data for £200 a year, do let us all know.
Personally, I haven't had any issues with YouGov.3 -
If you add an account that subsequently doesnt qualify as active can you add another to replace it or does the non qualifying count as one of your 10?0
