Just added three accounts now, all three say ‘successfully added’ and 500 points on their way in next 48 hours. Is this essentially a provisional award of points and in 48 hours they might come back and reject one or more of them based on being inactive? One of the accounts successfully added has a zero balance and no transactions in last 2-3 months so would have expected that not to qualify.
Its a mystery no doubt, I've got into the habit of using the one card that gets me cashback for supermarkets and the rest I use for dribs and drabs, where I work (garden centre), small online payments etc, lots of small transactions.

The one account that may have been declined last go is just going through now, made sure I've used it a fair bit lately so fingers crossed.
  • Apologies if covered multiple times before but...

I've now been awarded my first £50 after adding a number of current and savings accounts a few weeks ago and topped up with questionnaires.

What do I need to do to now bump my meagre balance up?

    Thanks in advance

Not much else to be done other than the (tedious) questionnaires that pop up 2-3 times a week.

There are extra points to be had by referring friends/family to sign up.

Points can be had by allowing access to your subscription viewing accounts (Prime Video, Netflix, etc) via something called YouGov Safe.

None of this comes close to the balance increasing frenzy every 3 months when bank account access has to be renewed.

let me see if my summary is correct.

add 10 current accounts (multiple accounts with same bank count as individual accounts?)
get 5000 points, redeem. wait 3 months and do same again? 4 x £50 per year?

Current accounts or credit cards.  And my 3 sole Halifax accounts all count.

I refreshed a couple of days ago, and it took about 24 hours for the points to come through.  Got the £50 this morning.

Of the 10 accounts I refreshed, only 8 generated points this time.  No warning at the time.  Only realised when 4000 points were added instead of 5000,

Yep, that's pretty much it. I've reconnected twice and had £150 from YouGov since January

Yep. I've had 2 lots of £50 (tip - do not pay into a Santander account if you can help it) and halfway towards my 3rd now.

All my accounts are staggered so I know which ones pass the enigma of the algorithm.

It took two days for santander to allow me to withdraw the money. I'm going to try halifax next time.

I'm with Santander and had many £50 from Yougov finance since I was invited when it first started

    That's where the £50 go

    Never had a problem

Same here. First time I had no idea but second time was my fault, did it without thinking or recalling the last time.
