Club Lloyds Advantage SaverNick_C said:What savings accounts are people having success with?
Lloyds Easy Saver
this appears to be mixed success though, you can have five of each and it currently looks like 3 haven’t tracked but I’m not yet 24 hours after setting them up.Doesn’t seem possible:
club Lloyds monthly saver
Lloyds monthly saver
and three other savings accounts with banks/building societies listed.1 -
So far the ones that have seemingly gone through ok are :Nick_C said:What savings accounts are people having success with?
Re Amex, if you have a supplementary card (or two) on your account, add that as well! (But if you have a supp card on someone else's account, that doesn;t seem to count for you.)
Santander Edge Saver
Halifax Everyday Saver
Conversely my Halifax Regular Saver doesn't, nor does my Nationwide Flex Saver (think thats the name) and I have 3 or 4 accounts with the Yorkshire, none of which work.
Still awaiting another 2 or 3 new bank accounts so if I can squeeze more savers through I will.1 -
Does anyone know what is deemed to be enough activity on an account to get the points?
I can't see much on the website.0 -
I don't know tbh, however my points seem to have been added quite quickly, ie before anyone knows if they are active or not.Leew89 said:Does anyone know what is deemed to be enough activity on an account to get the points?

I may just do the odd transfer in and card payments out just to keep it deemed as active.1 -
The open banking connection sees upto 2 years of transaction history, so active status is based on that, rather than waiting for new transactions.Bazzalona13295 said:

Success so far seems to be based on accounts that are at least a month old, and have transactions in the last 2 years (or whatever is accessible via open banking), but doesn't seem to need to be many transactions
My plan is to ensure that all accounts are ticking over.5 -
Regular savers won't work as they aren't included in open banking in general.2

Right....yeah best to keep using them all.k_man said:

One question then, when we say active or ticking over, would you say its better to pay the odd card transaction as opposed to simply putting a few quid in only to then take it out again?k_man said:

Guess a few cash withdrawals too for variety.0 -
A number of my current accounts have never had a cash withdrawal, or a debit card payment, so transfer it will be for me.Bazzalona13295 said:

That said, all my current accounts have money in and out for other reasons, so the extra work is only for older/dormant savings (many created at the of enhanced saver account deals).1 -
I would guess that a transaction is a transaction. Taking a card you wouldn't normally use out with you to an ATM would be quite dedicated. I'm sure I got points for accounts where I've never used the card.Bazzalona13295 said:
