Their CS is incredibly slow but they do seem to respond eventually. Mind you, I never contacted them about a locked account (never had one), so I have no idea whether and when they respond. But they will be the only ones who can solve it for you.CuriousGirl said:

They do come back very promptly but with a generic text about their members not being 'truthful and accurate with answering basic questions such as country of residence and or year of birth'.Band7 said:

I still have access to YouGov Finance page showing all my added accounts and it even let me add another one yesterday. Wondering about trying to contact YouGov Finance CS and ask them about the issue.0 -
May be nudge Mr. Shakespeare on Twitter? Not sure he is very active there, though, so email, or some other Execs, might get better results.CuriousGirl said:

Many thanks to @Bridlington1, @Band7 and many others for this thread and all contributions.I ummed and awwed over signing up, but opted to do so.I had no idea about this yougov offer or service, and clearly it is not for everyone, particularly with information security and open banking reservations.I have 22 current accounts, 11 credit cards, 28 saving accounts and a few welcome surveys, thrown in.I have managed to redeem £150, and waiting for two newly opened and registered savings accounts to show up with £1 credited each, then I'll be 100 points from another £50 redemption.Hopefully not looking a 'gift horse in the mouth' though.1

After posting a bad review on TrustPilot I have eventually managed to get them to reacivate my account and admit it was blocked in error.ConsistentlyLost said:CuriousGirl said:Has anyone else lost their access to YouGov or it is just me being the lucky one? I am unable to log in as they no longer send an access code to my email address and they keep sending the same generic email in response to my messages when I attempt to contact their support. No you're not alone, I posted about the same issue on this discussion six days ago but these guys are too busy reaping (multiple) rewards to be concerned with our problems
I actually resent that YouGov has access to my accounts and I can't even login to check my points balance. As you say their support/tech team are useless.I think the original post on this discussion is right, it is "too good to be true"

Do we have by now a large enough sample size to establish after what time and with how many transactions a current account is deemed as active?0

added 9 current accounts, 8 savings accounts and 3 credit card account last week (1 account on 26 January and the rest on 29 January). When I logged in to yougov website a couple of days ago saw the same number of points as guestman (3750 points). Seems a bit of a coincidence. Off the 9 current accounts there were about 4 'new' accounts (opened in January).Bridlington1 said:
You can only get the points for each account once every 90 days.guestman said:has anybody tried yet, once you get the points rewards, remove an account and then re add it to see if it counts towards points? i only have 3750. i guess i can sit there and open a load of saving accounts...
So seems I was only awarded points for a few. The 3750 points includes the 500 welcome bonus points. If only YouGov mentioned on the Dashboard which accounts were awarded points.
Has anyone tried this...once points are awarded for a batch of accounts you linked (and no more points seem forthcoming). Remove the accounts you suspect that didn't gain any points, then readd them. Not with the intention of double claiming points (it's impossible anyway as points are only awarded every 90 days) but to claim points for accounts that were not awarded. THis could be done after say two weeks, so any new account may have time to 'mature' and be captured as an 'active' account. In that two weeks we could put some transactions through them so they become 'active'.Bridlington1 said:I suspect they may not be classing new accounts as active until they have been open a certain length of time. I shall therefore leave it till the end of the month and link one of my new accounts up as a test to see if it will give me the points for a 3 week old account. Fingers crossed it will work. If not I shall try again with a different one each week until I have a rough idea as to how old accounts need to be to gain the YouGov points. Once this point is reached the remaining accounts shall be linked en masse..

Thanks @Band7 for starting this thread, and @OceanSound for referring to it on the Easy Access Savings thread - I would not otherwise have know about this.
Easiest £100 I've ever earned. I started linking accounts about midnight on Sunday, received my first £50 this morning, and the second is on the way.
I linked 29 accounts - 10 current accounts, 11 Credit Cards, and 8 savings accounts.
As far as I can tell, all my current accounts have credited, including Monzo which I haven't used since Sept '21. It looks as if anything with activity in the last two years is treated as active.
9 credit cards have credited, including a card that I haven't used since January '22. The two that haven't are supplementary Amex cards that I have on my partner's account, but which I can view through my online banking with Amex.
Four of my savings accounts have not credited. Three were with Tesco, have zero balances, and have not been used for nearly two years. The fourth was with Halifax, also with a zero balance, and unused for years. It looks as if savings accounts must also have some activity.
Oddly, two savings accounts with Virgin Money Clydesdale - 08**** sort code) have credited, even though they were closed in Dec 21 and Aug 22.
Santander e-Saver @2.75%, nil balance, unused since Dec 22, and Barclays Rainy Day Saver (with monthly activity) have both credited.
Total 9900 points plus 150 for short welcome surveys.
I'm tempted to stick £1 into each of the dormant savings accounts to see if they track next time round.
I also plan to create some activity on credit cards and current accounts each quarter that I would not normally use.
I have no qualms about selling this data. I already use the Emma app to help me reconcile my accounts, and I've earned 21350 Nectar Points in 14 months with Nectar Connect, by letting them spy on 3 of my credit cards.

How do you tell which accounts credit and which do not? Just by adding banks one at a time and waiting to see how many points are added?Nick_C said:Thanks @Band7 for starting this thread, and @OceanSound for referring to it on the Easy Access Savings thread - I would not otherwise have know about this.
