Thanks everyone, something unusual going on it seems. Auto-renewing connections would seem to go against the principles of open banking I would have thought.0

There is supposed to be the capability to auto-renew. The connections I set up were open-ended, so I was always slightly perplexed as to why I had to keep renewing them. I'm glad to see it is only a few that need renewing now.Middle_of_the_Road said:Thanks everyone, something unusual going on it seems. Wasn't aware these connections could be open-ended. It would seem then, this is a feature previously not operating as intended.masonic said:

Checked those, it just stopped working early November. No communication from Yougov. Feels like there is nothing I can do but wait and hope they get back to me. Otherwise, what a waste of time filling in those surveys.ColdIron said:YouGov's login code email is usually very reliable and the fastest in the business, virtually instant. Spam folder? Do you still get the emails offering surveys?0
-
Not since my last login but I have had two emails offering bonus points for sharing data. I had successfully been sharing data for Amazon shopping, Amazon Prime video and Steam.
I missed the boat on the bank sharing, I only signed up in June this year.0 -
Last time I had similar issue, I was blacklisted for picking wrong answers on surveys (their trap for catching people doing surveys without paying enough attention). It took a couple of communications to reinstate my account. Hope you are not in the same situation.crumpet_man said:

I definitely didn't select the wrong answer on the attention check questions but I did answer the surveys much faster than the expected times given by yougov. I find it easy to read the question and pick an answer quickly and loads of the questions were not relevant to me. Maybe they think I am a bot or giving poor answers.qsk said:

I had an email earlier this week to renew one account that had 5 days remaining, which I did, whilst the other 4 were down to 3 days, but renewing wasn’t possible, as the renew button was greyed out.
anyone seeing similar?I have 9. One of them, Lloyds, offered the renew button which I used 3 days ago and now shows 87 days remaining. The other 8 never gave me the renew option even though 6 of them were previously renewed at the same time as Lloyds. Those 6 rolled over today and seem to have renewed automatically with no authorisation by meThe first, Lloyds, now shows Active 87 days remaining. The other 6 show Active Since 3 Dec 2025 and the final 2 Active 1 day remaining with no renew optionOne ray of hope is I closed a Barclaycard a month ago, showing as Settled by the CRAs, and that's one of the 6 showing still active. I doubt that would have survived a manual renewConfused? YesCuriouser and curiouser5 of the 6 decided they weren't active or renewed after all, turned bright red and belatedly offered the renew button. The final 2 with 1 day remaining (as they have been since Monday) still have no renewSadly my cancelled Barclaycard is still showing as active, has not offered renew, and I think it's a dead man walkingIt all seems a bit chaotic but has (nearly) got there with no unauthorised renewal0 -
Since Sainsburys Bank closed, I lost the connection to the credit card. I was hoping on renewing my Natwest account I could re-add the card to go back up to 10 but no go. Website message was I could not renew as already had 3 accounts connected ...Save £12k in 2022 #54 reporting for duty0
