I mean I wouldn't put it past them to try something like this, but it will ultimately be okay. My understanding is that if you are late to renew the account still stays linked, but you just dont earn any points.
Indeed. I still have a closed account linked from some time ago, which I can't renew for this reason, but there's no point in me removing it given I can't link another.

I renewed 10 accounts on Thursday. They had emailed me advising that my connections would expire in 8 days time. The renewals took just minutes.

I wouldn’t worry about some weekend maintenance.

This doesn't look good. If those of us who are maintaining 10 accounts don't get a chance to renew, we're likely to be reduced to just three if we can't manage our connections. I don't have much confidence in their support team to prevent this from happening. Is this just their way of getting us all down to three?
A bit of regular routine maintenance and you've deduced that it's conspiracy to stop people renewing and you're likely to have your connections reduced to 3.

Give your head a wobble !!
No need to be rude. I was unaware you could still renew if they expired.
There's absolutely nothing rude about it,

YouGov have gone out of their way to post an informative statement about routine maintenance (something every single website has to do from time to time) and advising you what to do should you need to manage connections, yet you have then posted completely unfounded and unsubstantiated scaremongering statements inferring that it doesn't look good for users and that 10 connections are likely to be reduced to three because of this.

This is the kind of damaging false information which easily spreads on internet forums, creates problems and should be removed.

If you have anything to complain about, why not email a product manager: eleanor.coe@yougov.com

I also had the renewal email last week. This may be purely a coincidence but it let me renew three accounts on Friday and then the rest had the red "we'll be back soon" message, so I have 7 about to expire in a few days time.

I've got 2 accounts that will need renewing in the next 4 days so have sent them a support ticket as suggested on their "We'll be back soon" banner.

    Pulse is retiring (Source Email)

    Hello,

We want to give you a heads-up that, starting Monday March 24th, Pulse will be retiring and will no longer be available to members. We want to thank you for your valuable contribution to our work by participating in Pulse.

What do I need to do?

Nothing is required from you right now. If you are currently sharing Pulse data with us, you will still get your points for this as normal, even if these are due to be delivered in April. From March 31st you will no longer be able to continue earning points from Pulse.

If you use Pulse on an Android device:

    • A new update for the YouGov app will be available from March 24th. You'll need to do this update by March 31st.
    • If you haven't done it by this date, you won't be able to log in to the YouGov app until you have - you will be prompted to do this as you log in.

If you use Pulse on Desktop:

    • On March 31st the desktop application will automatically no longer collect data from your device.
    • To uninstall Pulse from your computer, open the application and follow the on-screen uninstallation guide.

We understand that Pulse was a great way to earn additional points, and we’re sorry to see it come to an end. We know you may have questions about this change. You can visit our dedicated FAQ section here where we also explain how to reverse any Android settings you needed to enable for Pulse and how to uninstall the desktop application or extension. If your question is unanswered, you can contact our support team using this link.

    Kind regards,

    YouGov

My NatWest has just expired even through it was showing 7 days remaining yesterday! Others are still showing 6 days remaining apart from TSB 32 days as TSB seems to require renewal every 60 days.
Day 4 of 'We'll be back soon'. Guess it depends upon your definition of 'soon'
