Electric
Jan 2022 average 2.9 kwh's a dayJan 2023 average 2.6 kwh's a day
Gas
Jan 2022 average 25 kwh's a dayJan 2023 average 25.2 kwh's a day - I budgeted 800 kwh's for this month so on target, I just hope we don't have another sold spell like December 😩0 -
Been in my property less than 1 year so haven't got a comparison with last Jan.
Electricity only, GSHP. 20 kWh usage per day (producing about 100 kWh heat per day - so at the moment the heat pump is working out cheaper to run than a gas boiler would).
In December we averaged 34 kWh per day as it was so much colder.
All other electricity use is about 16 kWh per day.0 -
Jan 22
Electricity 7.5kWh per day average
Gas 38 kWh per day average
Jan 23

Gas 29 kWh per day average

Electricity only, working from home until yesterday but have not needed the heating on apart from one day, 91kWh in total so far, likely to use around 240-250kWh over the month unless we have a very cold spell.0

Interesting. For me in January so far: gas (CH and HW) around 27kWh each day. Electricity 6.7kWh/day.
Charts show comparison with 2021, which was in a different house. '2022' refers to 2022/23.
3 bed det. built 2021. 2 occupants at home all day. Worcester Bosch Greenstar 30i combi boiler heating to 19-20C from 6am to midnight, setback to 17.5C overnight, connected in EMS mode to Tado smart modulating thermostat. Annual gas usage 6000kWh; electricity 2000kWh.0 -

Hopefully this will be interesting to some, but this is my Gas usage for the last two years and the cost. Despite reducing my usage year on year, the costs have been growing a lot more.
