Morning all
Lovely to hear your news GI, sounds like you have a lot to look forward to this year.
Dragged myself out of bed at 6.15am - I WILL get back into a normal routine. Workout done, shower next then off to the paid stuff. Will leave a note asking DH to strip the bed when he gets out of it.
Hope Tuesday is kind to you all xx12 -

Thinking of you this morning Round xx
Pouring with rain here and set in for the day, reports on radio say we are in for 100mm today! It is still very dark here so I haven’t been out to feed everyone yet.
Once the children are away to school (eek in five mins!), I must get everyone outside fed, then light the fire. £38 made on eBay overnight, which I am pleased with.I normally have the radio on all day at home but I fear they will talk about *that* book all day which I haven’t the interest in. So many pressing urgent needs in our society on our doorstep at the moment that need our attention, not that!
Safe to say this will be a NSD as I’m not going anywhere unless the Ark floats past! 8/31 so far. Have fab days all xx13 -

Thank you asb ❤. And thank you all for your kind words, hugs, and understanding ❤
I've booked the day off as Annual Leave. Just to give myself a bit of space before grasping the reins of life again.
To Do Today List
Have a shower and wash my hair
Get dressed
I'm up, made my bed, had a brew (I never did have one yesterday), taken my meds, and eaten breakfast (not chocolate today).
Not opened my curtains yet but a friend messaged me to 'go steady in this rain' so I guess that it's wet here too. I've messaged her back - not going anywhere today.
I'll be back, once I'm showered and dressed, with a plan of some sort.
Take care

grey, gloomy and wet in Valliland too.
am trying to decide whether to make the marmalade before I go in to work or not. Probably not actually.

Dark and wet here too. I am thinking of crawling back into bed, but the emerging look would be too much for the Mr M delivery driver to be expected to cope with. Less James Bond girl, more dishevelled elephant, if it is even possible for an elephant to be dishevelled. I have marmalade jealousy, Valli, and am kicking myself for forgetting to see if I could have added seville oranges and sugar to the order.
Trying to eat from stores, like Narc0, although I have a bad store cupboard habit, inherited from my mum. Most of today’s delivery is for DD to take back with her. Well, maybe not most…
I have admin to tackle, hair to dry, wm is already on with the bedding in and the bed is remade. Clean washing sorted. I also have a suitcase from the loft to sort through. Lots of spare bedding by the looks of it, which I guess will have to go to the cs, as I really don’t need that many spare sets any more.
Nice to see you back, GI.
More gentle hugs to Round to get through today x

raining here too and appears to be set in for the day. Dailies were done before starting the paid stuff. Wm has been run and the laundry shuffled. I have a full day but will fly a little later, top floor for me today I think.
take care and have a good day x11 -
Showered, hair washed, dressed in all clean clothes, all worn clothes are in the laundry hamper, and I've tucked a clean nightie under my pillow ready for tonight. 🙂
While the kettle boiled for my coffee I unpacked the cider that DS bought me for Christmas. Cider now in fridge, cardboard to be recycled, shopping bag in which it was transported put in other shopping bag - where it belongs.
Absolutely tipping down here so not in a hurry to step outside to feed the birds and bin the recycling. In fact I wouldn't be surprised if an ark did float past. Well maybe I would. In fact I'd be horrified as it would mean I had to get everything upstairs pdq.
Coffee now. Join me?

MorningDark, gloomy, and drizzle rain here as well.Been out to collect my parcel and prescription, new slippers fit fine and hopefully will keep my feet warmer.Waiting on Chimney sweep at 11am lets hope he turns up, as the builder I was expecting who text me several timesyesterday didn't, not too sure if to chase him up or not, as I am now in my mind questioning his work effics, but he does come highly recommended.............may look for someone else as a back up if nothing else.AB's given to cat, who is now not too keen to take them!So I have some rubbi g down to do, sandpaper etc in garage, so I'll wait for rain to ease up, before I wander out there.Breast Cancer Now 2022 100 miles October 100 / 100milesSun, Sea

Morning all.
Sensible decision, round!
Wet and windy here too. The dog walker collected Rosie at 9.05 - rather her than me. They were back before 10.00. Rosie is not too wet or muddy (she steps round all the puddles) but apparently her spaniel walking companion took a nose dive into a muddy puddle and is absolutely covered in it.
I rang DD last night and sorted DGS2's birthday present. Just need a card for him now. And I have a couple of other cards to post/email for this week, as well as phonecalls to make, meds to order, and savings to transfer.
Stay warm and dry if you can xxx
