Thank you all xx I would like to crawl under a stone and hide while Inhaling your sympathy. That really was a shock. And breathe....
Still I took my car to the garage as arranged so they can fit the switch. We don't think that's the only problem though - so 🤷 heyho. I think the walk back was exactly what I needed. Fresh air. I heard a robin. And I saw a white feather on the pavement which was comforting.
I've done a laundry shuffle. Auto pilot style. Must have been me, there's no one else here.
Sweetie is lying in state in a tissue box. I keep turning to the cage to talk to him. I don't suppose it matters if I carry on talking to him does it?
Do you know, I haven't even had a brew.
That's how discombobulated I am!
First I'll put out the rubbish and recycling. And feed the birds.
Fluttering might help.

Oh Round I am so sad to hear that! ((((hugs)))) Fly free Sweetie.. stay away from Hazel!!
It doesn't matter if you still talk to him.. he is in your heart and will never truly leave
I'm not really busy (and love an excuse to do nothing) so if you need an ear just give me a shout.. I have nothing to do which cannot wait. I am never too busy for a friend in need.. Apart from the school run.. I cannot talk and walk.
Mattress heaved in the car with the help of a couple of passersby and 2 binbags for DS1.. I also have a box of shoes to put in which are his also. I have 2 plastic drawer things to go to DD1.. so I might have thse flung in the car too.. and we have the start of the next tip run.. a broken airer and a binbag of rubbish which will not fit in our bin this week and the bins in the kitchen and loo need emptying..
I can move the double bed out of the front room then and we need to take the egg chair up to the girls room today also so I can actually get in and make room for the replacement bed. aaaannnnddddd my head says.. 'well you may as well repaint that grotty wall while it's exposed'... here we go again.... My brain will not stop!
I had to clean the kitchen before bed last night as it was horrendous.. I will empty and reload the DW first I think.. or second.. and get the boxes sorted to go in the loft so OH can do that while I do kitchen things.. Boog is about to help him.
I have 3 new light shades to go on the landing and hallway.. this may require some plastic smashing... so I need pliers.I've not yet heard back from school about the boy who is being a kn0b to Squeak on the bus.My brain is run ragged..

I'm so sorry to read about Sweetie, round. He was such a character! Love, (((hugs))) and coping vibes to you xx
Coping vibes to you too, pigpen. It sounds like you have an enormous amount on your plate atm xx
Thank you Natty for the new thread x. I am in this week as far as necessary and within my limitations - still decluttering one or two items a day.
I hope that DGD let you get some sleep despite her chickenpox, Jazee x
I've been awake since 5.30, and breakfast still isn't ready.... Ah, now it is. Will catch up with you all later.

No, no absolutely not, Round. He's still with you in spirit, isn't he? Keep talking away to him for as long as you want. Well done for getting on and doing the things that needed to be done this morning, and I'm so glad your walk back from the garage worked its magic on you. Enjoy your tea. I think several gallons of it might be the answer today. More (((hugs))).

The desantafication has almost concluded and my room is beautifully bare.. I even binned dead flowers so I can make space for my Lily from the kitchen.. it will go on the mantel away from furry bodies and their teeth! My front room looks like an amazon warehouse until I get them in the loft.. OH can whizz them upstairs ready so they are not in here.
I have measured and I only need to move the drawers and desk up by 6 inches to fit the bed in.. but there are boxes under the bed I need to move.
I need an allen key to dismantle the metal bed.. it isn't in good enough condition to rehome so is a tip job.
I have foiled Puddings plans to tie the world up and put my wool in a lidded storage box.. he is mosst unhappy.. he can see it but can't get it!
Another bag of shoes has gone in the car to go to DS1 later.. and I have a double bed in my hallway!

I’m back.
I have a chilli in the SC, I’ve made crumble topping for tonight’s crumble and frozen the rest and WUDUPA. WM x1 is spinning as I type, and I’ve made the executive decision to move both dog cages into the unused room downstairs (well I say unused, it houses the TD, an old chair and the hoover!). I just need to get a door put on that room and I’m sorted. Both fires have been cleaned out and the living room one is blazing away.Made an executive decision (again!) about some new to me drawers for DS room. He desperately needs some and it will make my life easier. They are solid, second hand and expensive (£250). But will last forever. I’ve told the lady I can collect this weekend. I haven’t got the money. Off to hit up eBay!11
