P and S came for coffee as usual. I asked them to bring a shoebox please. Sweetie has been buried in the garden next to Charlie. I'll deal with the cage later.
Garage phoned to say that my car was ready to pick up, so I cadged a lift to the garage off P & S. Paid the bill. Starting felt a lot better so we'll see how we go.
Done another laundry shuffle and put the airer away. Torn up a box and recycled it. Eaten chocolate.

Pops rang from Benidorm, as you do, and asked me to remove items from fridge and freezer which he'd turned off before leaving home last week.
One soggy box of ice lollies, one tub of marg, and one pack of very ood cheese slices brought home and binned. As was the milk sat on the draining board! He's due back at the beginning of March!!!
There was a puddle on his kitchen floor. I can only think that it was a result of the freezer defrosting. 🤔. Anyhoo puddle wiped up and tea towel brought home for a hot wash.
I've also binned Sweetie's broken mirror - he refused the replacement that I bought, so I hung the old one back with a rubber band construction of my own design (not pretty but it worked); his ladder and the bell that fell off it. I've thrown his seed to the birds, hung up his seed bar for them too, and put the seed pot and water pot to be washed.

Went on a tantrum and bought down several boxes of crap out the loft
hubby wants to apply for a job and they don’t accept applications if you use a computer set up in a shared space so he mentioned could move into part converted loft room instead of our bed room
except it’s filled with crap some of which has been there 20 years and 5 of us added more to it 🤬🤬10 -
The postman has been. Thank you Natty for your note and pigpen for your card and the lovely little gift: all much appreciated. We are still officially in the Christmas season, even though I have taken down all my other decorations (they had gone up early this year, so came down promptly on Twelfth Night), so I have plenty of room to hang up another stocking.
I decluttered my appointment with the GP nurse, and my wound is definitely looking a lot better than it was a week ago. Then after lunch, despite my computer trying to tell me that it was raining, DH, Rosie and I went out for a walk in bright sunshine. We made it all the way along the lane to the next road junction and back again, non-stop in 25 minutes which is quite a good pace for both me and DH. I've just had a chat with the nurse practitioner at the wound clinic at the horse piddle in Millennium City, and she is very pleased with my progress, so I don't have to traipse over there as well
A few more phonecalls to make now, and I must sort out a birthday gift for DGS2 who will become a teenager next week

Beast pack ups done.. Twinkle has left her lunch bag at school.. NOT impressed..
Someone spread wallpaper paste on the kitchen floor so I washed that.
I am not fond of children today.. they are being incredibly annoying, screeching and bickering.. it sounds like bed time to me!

Sending all my love to you Round. I believe that no-one truly dies in this world until they are forgotten - one of my favourite quotes from one of my favourite authors (Terry Pratchett) sums it up:
"“No one is finally dead until the ripples they cause in the world die away, until the clock wound up winds down, until the wine she made has finished its ferment, until the crop they planted is harvested. The span of someone's life is only the core of their actual existence." And I believe that sentiment applies to any living creature we love, because love is what life is really.
Feeling pretty rough here tonight. Just not quite right - quite a lot of heartburn tonight again too. I'm hoping an early night and a triple chocolate muffin (which I have looped OH into acquiring) will make me feel better. After a shot of that nasty Gaviscon£2023 in 2023 challenge - £17.79 January11
