Been so lax in updating. After a cracking Jan on the payment front, February has been dismal. Made the minimum payments only. However had the brakes done on my car, and did enjoy a day out in London with one of my oldest friends (I drove and then we tubed into central London) a day out with my boys to a nearby town while car was being fixed and then an old friend was over from the states, so met up with her and another friend (these are friends from 6th form college, we so rarely get the chance to get together, it was just glorious to see them both) which ended half term nicely.
So the budget has taken a hammering, I have been working longer days trying to make some extra hours up, which meant I was hungrier so grabbing some food on the go, and being extra tired in the eve leading to some silly online shopping decisions! Luckily it's all covered, and is all needed stuff, could have just done with it being spread over the next couple of months.
And then hubby got paid, and after sorting ynab I ended ip with a bit extra left over, used it to grab something needed, and then discovered the petrol pot hadn't updated properly 🤦♀️ luckily I am waiting on some money from some clients which should be paid this week so am not having to leave it empty!
But overall been a bit of a disaster. Onwards and upwards.....Debt free Feb 2021 🎉2 -
Clients paid, so everything all smoothed out in ynab.
Glad it's Friday, my body is struggling a bit atm. May need to visit the chiropractor for a couple of sessions. Been a long time since I needed to go. I used to go a lot, but my back issues seemed to sort themselves out somewhat. But I am feeling stiff, my neck isn't happy and I have pain down into my glutes. I need to get back into Yoga too think.
Will be going for a walk with hubby this weekend again after two weekends off. He was ill, than I was ill. I may try to get it on my own tomorrow though. I like the walking as solitary time, but I also want him to do some exercise. He also walks just a tiny bit faster than me, which is OK on a 2k walk, but anything longer I struggle. And I prefer the longer walks.
The girl had a job interview, but said she didn't think it went that well (group interview) and was contacted by another company she applied too. So she might strike lucky. She is very aware she needs to be working in September in order to make up the shortfall in her loan. We just simply cannot bridge it. Will be over 6k! We will do what we can, but she needs to have an income. Worse case she can transfer either her job she has at home, but she really doesn't want to. Me telling her this, has prompted her to actually start applying for jobs though.Debt free Feb 2021 🎉1 -
Fingers crossed DD gets a job she likes, though sometimes we have to do what we don't like! Enjoy your walk
