I have a weighted hoop.  It clicks together, I have never got stuck in. Good Luck with using it @Sun_Addict

I tried it out briefly yesterday and found it easy to escape from 😆

Are your gas and electric with octopus ? They offer a free Gregg’s coffee and sausage roll each week.  Also if you are on 3 you can get a code for a £1 cafe Nero
Yes I'd already used the free coffee earlier in the week. I'm with O2 and get a free coffee and a breakfast roll every Friday although never used them as I don't eat breakfast rolls and the queue is always horrendous on a Friday morning so haven't picked the coffee up either.

Do you have the Gr£ggs app? You get every 10th item in its category free, could be an occasional bonus if Mr SA wants something from there fairly regularly
To be honest, apart from the free coffee, I don't go in there very often to actually buy something. It's just Mr SA's treat for waiting outside BnM for me with the dog on the rare occasion we go to the retail park.

That's Monday done (well almost). Worked in the office until just after lunch and back home now to finish up.

Claimed my free coffee from Gr£ggs on the way to work.

Budget pot reset day. Underspend for last month was £54.16, not fantastic but not bad. The main aim is not to overspend. £4.16 has been sent to the Christmas pot and £50 to the home improvements pot. Credit card balance cleared off again. Another oddment of £8.24 sent to the Christmas pot.

    Balances updated:

    Debt:
Mortgage £7166.16 (will be well under £7k next month)

    Savings:
    Emergency Fund £5000.00
    P regular saver    £1250.00
    N regular saver    £1200.00
    YBS Xmas saver  £450.00
    Premium Bonds    £500.00
Sinking funds        £3350.64 (this is lots of smaller pots combined that go up and down)

Today's exercise is walking to/from work and another go at the live hooping class tonight. I will be using my new hoop.

Tonight's dinner is a portion of fish pie from freezer stocks with steamed veg.

To do: finalise Mr M order for tomorrow, Spanish challenges and maybe the odd survey.

Those savings are looking good SA - and just look at the speed that mortgage is dropping with too!

Looks like everyone must have nabbed their free drinks from Gr3ggs today as all the codes were gone for today by lunchtime! Annoyingly, I'd be most inclined to get one after work as that's when I usually go past and they're mostly gone by that time!

  • Lovely mortgage and savings amounts, and over £50 underspend is great, especially as prices still seem to be going up on most things!

You are doing an amazing job with your money. :)

The hoop sounds like a lot of fun, especially with attendant cats. I have a lovely picture in my head of you whirling away with the cat trying its best to get the 'toy'.
