Progress not Perfection

I was in Lidl on Friday and had been considering buying a cauliflower - watched a lady going through them one at a time trying to find even one of a decent size, she failed, so I bought broccoli instead!   

Entirely delighted to hear that you had good feedback on MrSA needing more help, physio etc - here's hoping that things get moving fairly swiftly now.

That's Blue Monday almost done. Worked in the office until just after lunchtime and finishing up at home. 

Gosh it's nippy out there but the sunshine is beautiful. I was sitting in the window in the office and the sun was shining right on me. I was wearing thermal jeans, a thermal long sleeved top, thick jumper and furry boots and was boiling.

Nipped into Lid! on the way home and picked up the free seeded sourdough loaf plus a few other things we need. I'm being completely selfish and hiding this loaf from Mr SA as he'd polish it off in a couple of days. I intend to keep it to myself and it will keep me in breakfasts all week. 

Have had my usual Monday budget check and paid off the CC balance. 

Today's exercise has  been walking to/from work 18,000 steps so far and I'm trying out a Yogalates class at 6pm from the FitOn app. I've decided to challenge myself to try one new workout a week. 

Tonight's dinner is leftover butternut squash dhal from Saturday and I have enough wine left from the weekend to make up a respectable sized glass so looking forward to enjoying that once I sit down for my hour's TV viewing later. Curry and wine - how very decadent for a Monday 😁

Yes - that bread is definitely too nice to have it hoovered up by someone who won't even taste it as it disappears! 

Decadent indeed - I'm afraid the bottle of wine I had over the weekend very much got finished - so I'm quite jealous of yours!

I did the Yogalates class earlier. It was supposed to be relaxing but the young cat decided to weave in and out of me while I was on the mat, then she started attacking
me 😆

Had a lovely warm bath afterwards. 

Felt nice and relaxed then noticed the older cat had puked in the hallway so had that to clear up. 

Anyway finally putting my feet up with that wine now.

If you got one with the drawers I'm sure you'd use it a lot. You can do a lot more than air fry with them - roast, bake, etc. You could always buy a small one and see how you get on with it. I often use the air fryer just for me as we all eat different things.
