I don't think the general dreariness of this time of year is helping us - alongside all the personal stresses and worries that people have, it's extra effort to make ourselves keep going when it's cold and dark.
Perhaps it's a day to indulge in a good book and a glass of something? Or go out in the garden and look for signs of spring?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)

Fashion on the Ration 2025: Fabric 2, men's socks 3, Duvet 7.5, 2 t-shirts 10, men's socks 3, uniform top 0, hat 0, shoes 5 = 30.5/68
2024: Trainers 5, dress 7, slippers 5, 2 prs socks (gift) 2, 3 prs white socks 3, t-shirts x 2 10, 6 prs socks: mostly gifts 6, duvet set 7.5 = 45.5/68 coupons

The veg size is an interesting one as I am convinced that the smaller ones actually taste better. Just another thing to put costs up though.

I think it is more the variety that affects the taste rather than the size.4

I found some motivation and had a good clean of the kitchen and basic clean of the other rooms. Made my soup then had a relaxing bath with a face pack and a magazine. There is currently nothing in the laundry basket 🥳Mr SA got up watched a bit of TV then had a shower and went back to bed for siesta part 2. He did get up half an hour later though and is now back watching TV.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Mr SA was shocked at pizza on a Sunday 🤣 He loved it and has declared he prefers it to steak!Managed to capture the cats to apply their flea treatment so they’re currently sulking. The dog isn’t bothered in the slightest.Just checked my holiday countdown app and it’s now only 99 days to Lanzarote 🥳I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)5

Forgot to mention had my monthly bill from 🐙 and now down to £436 credit. However this is still the most credit we’ve ever been in this time of year.I get knocked down but I get up again (Chumbawamba, Tubthumping)2
